Modern Warfare 4 brings DMZ back with a much larger progression system built around the Hajin Exclusion Zone. The core loop is still about entering a dangerous map, completing objectives, collecting loot, surviving enemy Operators, and extracting, but MW4 adds a persistent FOB, dedicated Level 1โ€“70 progression, crafting, evolving threats, bosses, Operator Traits, and Operator Prestige.

This guide covers everything confirmed so far, including the full Forward Operating Base systems revealed in DMZ Deep Dive Part 2, and will continue to be updated through launch.

What Is DMZ in Modern Warfare 4?

DMZ is Modern Warfare 4's extraction mode. Infinity Ward describes it as a persistent open-world combat environment where you enter Hajin, collect loot, complete objectives, fight AI forces and rival Operators, and try to extract with your rewards.

The big difference is how much happens between deployments. Your Forward Operating Base, DMZ Player Level, Operators, Stash, crafting options, weapon access, Traits, and other systems continue developing as you play. This makes MW4 DMZ a long-term progression mode rather than a series of isolated extraction matches.

Infinity Ward's official DMZ Part 2 FOB guide now confirms the major progression, crafting, Operator Prestige, Bounty, Stash, and deployment systems covered below.

How MW4 DMZ Works

Every DMZ deployment starts at your FOB. This is where you prepare an Active Duty Operator, manage your Stash and Loadout, review DMZ Orders, craft gear, purchase weapons, and decide what you want to accomplish in Hajin.

The basic gameplay loop works like this:

  • 1. Prepare at the FOB: Choose an Active Duty Operator, weapons, gear, Orders, and your plan for the deployment.
  • 2. Choose how to deploy: Select a Story Mission, Dynamic Operation, or Free Roam deployment.
  • 3. Enter Hajin: Infil on foot or use one of the paid vehicle and aircraft deployment options.
  • 4. Loot: Search containers, buildings, caches, locked rooms, and underground areas for gear, Resources, Recipes, Weapon Manuals, and 3D Printer Ingredients.
  • 5. Complete objectives: Work on DMZ Orders, Dynamic Operations, Story Missions, Side Operations, Bounties, bosses, or other activities.
  • 6. Develop your Operator: Earn DMZ XP, increase your Dog Tag level, and unlock Trait Points.
  • 7. Extract: Reach an exfil method before radiation and enemy pressure make the deployment too dangerous.
  • 8. Return to the FOB: Review your After Action Report, move loot into your Stash, craft upgrades, and prepare for the next run.

A good deployment should progress several systems at once. Even if you fail to exfil, the DMZ XP you earned still counts toward your Level 1-70 progression.

MW4 DMZ Progression Explained

Modern Warfare 4 gives DMZ its own Player Level from Level 1 to Level 70. This progression is separate from MW4's normal Level 1-55 Player Progression and unlocks FOB Stations, important 3D Printer Recipes, upgrades, and other DMZ rewards.

XP earned toward your DMZ Level also contributes to your normal MW4 Player Level. However, XP earned in Multiplayer or Warzone does not increase your DMZ Level.

How to Earn DMZ XP

Confirmed sources of DMZ XP include:

  • Story Missions
  • DMZ Orders
  • Dynamic Operations
  • Side Operations
  • Looting containers and resources
  • Killing Lieutenants
  • Killing Commanders
  • Eliminating AI enemies
  • Eliminating rival Operators
  • Other deployment activities and objectives

Infinity Ward specifically recommends balancing Objectives, Combat, and Looting. These three categories are also used to calculate your deployment rating in the After Action Report.

DMZ After Action Report

The After Action Report appears after your deployment whether or not you successfully extract. It records what you found, how you performed, how much XP you earned, and how your DMZ progression changed.

Your performance receives a rating from F up to S++. The game tracks statistics such as AI kills, missions completed, loot containers opened, and Side Operations completed before applying your XP to the Level 1-70 track.

Your weapon progression and Dog Tag progression are also updated after the deployment.

MW4 DMZ After Action Report showing deployment performance and progression

If you are planning to grind weapons across MW4, our MW4 weapons guide covers the currently confirmed arsenal and progression systems.

Dog Tag Levels and Operator Traits

Each Active Duty Operator has their own Dog Tag progression. There are 18 Dog Tag levels across six rarities:

  • Steel I, II and III
  • Bronze I, II and III
  • Silver I, II and III
  • Gold I, II and III
  • Damascus I, II and III
  • Onyx I, II and III

Every Dog Tag level awards one Trait Point. A fully leveled Operator reaches Onyx III with 18 Trait Points, at which point that Operator becomes eligible for DMZ Operator Prestige.

A strong deployment can raise your Dog Tag by more than one level at once. Your Operator's Dog Tag level is separate from your overall DMZ Player Level.

Warfighter, Scout and Survivalist Trait Trees

DMZ contains 66 Traits divided equally across three Trait Trees: Warfighter, Scout, and Survivalist. Each Tree has 22 Traits made up of seven visible Major Traits and 15 randomized Minor Traits.

Because an Operator can earn only 18 Trait Points before reaching Onyx III, you cannot unlock all 66 Traits on one Operator. You can fully develop two Trait Trees or mix branches from all three.

MW4 DMZ Warfighter Scout and Survivalist Operator Trait Trees

The three Trees focus on different playstyles:

  • Warfighter: Combat-focused Traits such as Quick Fix, Combat Resistance, Viper Sense, and Possum.
  • Scout: Looting, cash, UAV, stealth, and field-crafting Traits such as Investor, Container Looter, Thermal Padding, Overwatch, and Field Crafting.
  • Survivalist: Recovery and survivability Traits such as Faster Revive, Impact Smokes, Free Revive, Numb the Pain, and Die Hard.

Once you select a normal Trait, it is locked to that Operator and cannot simply be swapped for another Trait.

DMZ Operator Prestige should not be confused with MW4's normal account Prestige systems. See our MW4 Prestige guide for how Classic and Regular Prestige work outside this DMZ-specific Operator system.

Forward Operating Base (FOB) Explained

The Forward Operating Base is your main command center between DMZ deployments. You use it to manage Operators, gear, progression, missions, crafting, weapons, bosses, Bounties, and other persistent systems.

The FOB does not start fully upgraded. New Stations unlock as you progress through DMZ, while permanent FOB upgrades improve systems such as your Bank, Stash, MIA recovery costs, crafting, Vendor, and Gunsmith.

This makes the FOB one of the biggest differences in MW4's version of DMZ. Progress is visible not only through a level number but through the systems, inventory capacity, crafting options, weapons, Operators, and Stations you develop over time.

Active Duty Operators

You start with two Active Duty Operator slots and can unlock another through DMZ Player Level progression. Vault Edition owners start with an additional slot, giving them three immediately.

An Operator recruited into a slot stays tied to that slot until you dismiss them. You can change their Operator Skin, but you cannot simply replace the underlying Operator without dismissing them and recruiting another.

Each Active Duty Operator has their own Dog Tag level, normal Traits, Permanent Prestige Traits, Backpack, and Loadout. Shared resources such as DMZ Cash, Stash contents, crafting Resources, and Printer Ingredients can be used across your roster.

MIA Operators and Recovery

If an Operator is eliminated during a deployment, they become MIA and cannot deploy again until you recover or dismiss them.

Recovering an MIA Operator costs DMZ Cash from your Bank. The recovery price depends on how many Trait Points the Operator has, so stronger Operators cost more to bring back.

Recovery preserves the Operator's Traits but does not preserve their equipment. A recovered Operator returns without their previous gear and needs a new Loadout.

You can also dismiss the MIA Operator and start again with a replacement instead of paying the recovery cost.

Operator Prestige

Once an Active Duty Operator reaches Onyx III and has earned all 18 Trait Points, that specific Operator can Prestige as long as they are not MIA.

Prestiging consumes the required gear and DMZ Cash, removes the Operator's normal Traits, and resets their Trait progression. In return, the Operator receives a random Permanent Prestige Trait that remains tied to that Operator.

MW4 DMZ Operator Prestige requirements and Permanent Prestige Traits

PrestigeWeaponsPlate Carrier / BackpackPrinter IngredientsDMZ Cash
Prestige 12 Rare-or-better weapons with 3 Attachment slots eachRare / Rare4 Rare200,000
Prestige 22 weapons with 4 Attachment slots eachEpic / Epic4 Epic300,000
Prestige 3+2 weapons with 4 Attachment slots eachLegendary / Legendary4 Legendary500,000

An Operator can hold a maximum of three Permanent Prestige Traits. After the third Prestige, you can continue Prestiging with the same Prestige 3 requirements. Instead of adding a fourth Permanent Trait, the game offers a new random Trait that can replace one of your current three, or you can reject it and keep your existing setup.

Prestiging multiple Operators also unlocks additional Calling Cards and other rewards that Infinity Ward is still keeping classified.

Stash, Loadout and Secure Slots

Your Stash is shared across all Active Duty Operators. At the start, it holds up to 40 general items and 12 weapons, with weapon capacity counted separately.

The four basic crafting Resources, Synthetics, Electronics, Chemicals, and Metals, do not use Stash slots because they are automatically broken down and tracked separately.

Your Backpack contains the items you carry into Hajin. Upgraded Backpacks can include Secure Slots, which protect items placed inside them if you fail to exfil. Items outside Secure Slots are lost after a failed extraction.

Without a proper Backpack equipped, you begin with a Basic Pack containing eight item slots.

3D Printer and Crafting

The 3D Printer unlocks at DMZ Player Level 2. Crafting uses three components:

  • Recipes: Unlock new things you are allowed to craft.
  • Resources: Synthetics, Electronics, Chemicals, and Metals automatically collected and broken down while looting.
  • 3D Printer Ingredients: Valuable items such as Binding Catalyst, Biomaterials, Detonators, and Control Units that must be extracted intact.

Recipes can be unlocked by increasing your DMZ Player Level, completing DMZ Orders, or finding a Recipe and successfully extracting with it. Extracted Recipes are automatically consumed to permanently unlock them and also award 5,000 DMZ Cash.

Starting RecipeRequired Materials
Bandage15 Synthetics + 15 Chemicals
Medkit30 Chemicals + 1 Binding Catalyst + 5 Biomaterials
1-Plate Armor Vest25 Synthetics + 25 Metals
2-Plate Armor Vest50 Synthetics + 5 Reactive Metals
Small Backpack25 Synthetics + 25 Metals
Medium Backpack50 Synthetics + 5 Rigid Synthetics

You can track a Recipe or Ingredient from the 3D Printer menu, making the relevant item easier to identify while looting. The Printer also provides general location recommendations for harder-to-find Ingredients.

Permanent FOB Upgrades

The 3D Printer is also used to create permanent upgrades for your wider FOB. These upgrades require multiple prints and can improve:

  • Bank capacity
  • Stash item capacity
  • Stash weapon capacity
  • MIA recovery discounts
  • Higher-rarity Ingredient printing
  • Dog Tag Case capacity
  • Gunsmith discounts
  • Vendor purchase options

MW4 DMZ 3D Printer permanent FOB upgrades

Gunsmith and Weapon Manuals

The Gunsmith unlocks at DMZ Level 10 and uses in-game DMZ Cash to purchase and customize weapons.

Any weapon you successfully extract can be taken into the Gunsmith and upgraded as that individual weapon. However, extracting a weapon does not permanently unlock that weapon for repeat purchases.

To permanently unlock a weapon for purchase in the Gunsmith, you need to find its Weapon Manual and successfully extract with it. After that, you can buy that weapon repeatedly using DMZ Cash.

Weapon Manuals work similarly to extracted Recipes and also award DMZ Cash when successfully extracted.

Weapon progression is shared between Multiplayer and DMZ, so attachments already unlocked by leveling a weapon remain available in both modes. Gunsmith-built weapons can use up to five purchased Attachment slots, while weapons found naturally in Hajin can appear with as many as eight Attachment slots.

If you want to prepare your weapon progression before spending more time inside DMZ, also see our MW4 Weapon Leveling service.

Vendor

The FOB Vendor unlocks at DMZ Level 5. It sells weapons and equipment for DMZ Cash, with stock refreshing periodically.

Higher DMZ Levels provide access to better Vendor equipment. The Vendor itself can also receive permanent 3D Printer upgrades that expand the purchase options available.

Bounty Leaderboard and Most Wanted System

The Bounty Leaderboard is available immediately and tracks the most successful PvP Killers and Bounty Hunters in DMZ.

Every Operator kill adds a Bounty to the Killer's Dog Tag. After killing four human Operators across deployments, that Operator becomes Wanted. Higher kill totals increase the Bounty and can eventually create a Most Wanted target.

Nearby players are alerted when a Wanted Operator is in the area. Hunters can visit a Bounty Station during a deployment, spend DMZ Cash to locate a Wanted player, eliminate them, and then extract with their Dog Tag to claim the Bounty reward.

The FOB Leaderboard shows a weekly Top 50 for both Most Wanted Operators and Bounty Hunters, with global and friends-only views.

MW4 DMZ Missions and Operations

MW4 uses several different types of objectives instead of placing everything under one mission system. From the Deploy menu, you can enter Hajin through Story Missions, Dynamic Operations, or Free Roam.

DMZ Orders

DMZ Orders are your main guiding directives. They teach DMZ systems, help upgrade your Operator and FOB, provide narrative intel, and reward Resources, loot, and DMZ Cash.

Some Orders act as onboarding tasks, while later objectives push you toward more difficult systems and activities. You can review current Orders at the FOB and track them during deployment.

MW4 DMZ Orders shown on the Hajin Tac-Map

Story Missions

Story Missions continue the narrative surrounding Hajin. You can select missions, replay completed missions, review objectives through a mission briefing, and earn rewards that usually include high-value gear and DMZ Cash.

You can also choose a random Story Mission, while specific completion milestones can provide additional rewards.

Dynamic Operations

Dynamic Operations give your deployment a focused objective. You can deploy directly into an Operation or activate additional Dynamic Ops inside Hajin.

Completing a Dynamic Operation gives DMZ XP and DMZ Cash, followed by a Supply Drop containing additional loot.

The Supply Drop improves when you successfully chain Operations during the same deployment:

  • First successful Operation: Common Supply Drop
  • Second successful Operation: Uncommon Supply Drop
  • Third successful Operation: Rare Supply Drop

Confirmed Dynamic Operations include objectives such as Hunt Operators, Dead Man's Cache, and Chemical Denial.

Free Roam

Free Roam lets you deploy without selecting a Story Mission or Dynamic Operation. It is a useful choice when you want to focus on looting, farming 3D Printer Ingredients, completing DMZ Orders, hunting Wanted Operators, or exploring Hajin at your own pace.

DMZ Infiltration Options

Dynamic Operations and Free Roam support several infiltration methods. Better options cost more DMZ Cash, while some also require progression to unlock.

InfiltrationCostHow It Works
GroundFreeSpawn on foot in a random part of Hajin.
Polaris Dagor A15,000 DMZ CashSpawn at a random location with a light vehicle dropped nearby.
LTV25,000 DMZ CashSpawn at a random location with a heavily armored LTV.
Helicopter50,000 DMZ CashEnter Hajin in a player-controlled helicopter.
Cargo Plane100,000 DMZ CashChoose a precise area of Hajin to drop into from a cargo plane.

Side Operations

Side Operations are smaller opportunities that can provide DMZ XP, Resources, or useful intel without requiring the same commitment as a larger Dynamic Operation.

Confirmed examples include finding lost Supply Drops, repairing trucks, and climbing damaged radio towers. Lieutenant Hunt towers can mark the nearest Lieutenant on your Tac-Map.

Lieutenant Hunts

Lieutenants are high-value bosses with more health, unique tactics, and distinctive equipment. To target a specific Lieutenant, you first complete the required challenges to unlock their intel, then purchase that intel from the Boss Board using DMZ Cash.

Purchased Lieutenant intel is valid for only one deployment. Lieutenants can drop their signature weapon, a special Key to a personal locked location, and a Dog Tag Case.

The Dog Tag Case is especially important because every Lieutenant drops one. Carrying it broadcasts your location to rival squads, making extraction more dangerous. Successfully extracting Lieutenant Dog Tag Cases progresses your Boss Board and can eventually unlock additional rewards.

Commanders

Commanders are powerful enemies that are always present somewhere in Hajin. Unlike Lieutenants, you cannot buy exact Commander intel from the Boss Board.

Nearby Commanders are marked on the Tac-Map and your Team Leader warns you when one is close. The first kill of a specific Commander awards DMZ Cash, while eliminating Commanders and extracting can provide valuable 3D Printer Ingredients.

Hajin Map Guide and Major POIs

Hajin is the large Exclusion Zone used for MW4 DMZ. The map mixes cities, military installations, farmland, forests, mountains, industrial areas, underground complexes, waterways, and radioactive zones.

There are 13 major POIs and more than 60 named locations across the wider map. Every major POI also begins with its own expected Threat Level.

The highest-risk locations currently revealed include the underground section of Chang-san Air Base and the Nenshin Tech Complex inside The Grid, both rated at Extreme before player activity causes any further escalation.

MW4 DMZ Chang-san Air Base in Hajin

Hajin's Underground Areas

Hajin is not only a surface map. Several areas include tunnels, underground facilities, sewers, malls, bunkers, and other hidden entrances.

Chang-san Air Base has a bunker complex described as larger than the surface base itself. NuriGO Mall also has a large underground shopping area where the lack of electricity makes NVGs useful.

Keys can lead to additional locked areas, so it is worth reading the grid location listed in the description of any Key you find.

Hajin and Warzone

Hajin is also important to the wider MW4-era Warzone ecosystem. If you are following the other new Korean map experience, see our MW4 Warzone Zodiac guide for the smaller Resurgence map and current Season 1 information.

MW4 DMZ Threat Levels and Enemy AI

Every POI in Hajin has a Threat Level that shows how dangerous the current AI response is expected to be. The lowest active level is Low, while the highest confirmed level is Extreme.

Threat is shown below your compass. Fighting aggressively, being spotted, and creating more disruption can cause enemy resistance to increase and stronger reinforcements to arrive.

Human Operators are not included in the Threat indicator. A location that appears manageable can therefore still contain another squad waiting to attack you.

MW4 DMZ HUD showing Threat Level and deployment information

How to Lower Threat

You do not have to keep escalating every encounter. Breaking contact, moving away from enemies, hiding, using cover, and returning to stealth can calm the situation.

Suppressed shots, melee attacks, and throwing knives can help you clear enemies without immediately triggering the same level of response.

Marked for Death

The HUD also tracks the number of hostile enemies you kill during the deployment. If this meter fills, an enemy Hunt Squad is dispatched to track you and you become Marked for Death.

This AI escalation system is separate from the PvP Wanted and Bounty system. A player can therefore be dealing with aggressive AI pressure while also carrying a valuable PvP Bounty.

Enemy Types in Hajin

Confirmed enemy types include:

  • Tier 1 North Korean Grunts
  • Tier 2 Armored Soldiers
  • Tier 3 Armored Soldiers with Gas Masks
  • Tier 4 heavily armored enemies
  • Autonomous Combat Drone Swarms
  • Autonomous LMG Combat Drones
  • K9 autonomous quadrupeds
  • Attack helicopter patrols
  • Road convoys
  • Lieutenants
  • Commanders
  • Rival Operators

The Ping Wheel also supports Operator interactions such as requesting a Truce and assimilation with another squad.

Loot, Keys and Valuable Items

Looting is one of the main ways to earn DMZ XP and prepare for the rest of your deployment. Containers can hold weapons, Armor Plates, Bandages, crafting materials, Keys, Recipes, Weapon Manuals, Printer Ingredients, and other valuable resources.

Do not only search obvious buildings. Infinity Ward has specifically warned players to look for alternate entrances, locked rooms, underground access points, and areas that may initially look inaccessible.

Resources and Printer Ingredients

The four basic crafting Resources are Synthetics, Electronics, Chemicals, and Metals. They are automatically broken down while you loot and do not occupy normal Stash slots.

3D Printer Ingredients remain as physical items and need to be successfully extracted. These Ingredients are used for stronger Recipes, permanent FOB upgrades, and Operator Prestige requirements.

Keys and Locked Rooms

Keys can open special loot locations around Hajin. Their descriptions include map grid information, which helps you work out where the matching location is found.

Some Lieutenants can also drop Keys to special personal loot rooms containing high-value rewards.

Recipes and Weapon Manuals

Successfully extracting a new Recipe permanently adds it to your 3D Printer. Successfully extracting a Weapon Manual permanently unlocks that weapon for repeated purchases through the FOB Gunsmith.

Both systems make successful extraction especially important because they permanently expand what your FOB can produce.

Useful Building Types

Certain building types have more predictable uses:

  • Fire Stations: Good places to search for Radiation Gear and Parachutes.
  • Police Stations: Can contain military gear and a locked Armory.
  • Clinics: Useful sources of medical loot.
  • Gas Stations: Repair and refuel vehicles and Gas Cans.
  • Marine Gas Stations: Repair and refuel watercraft and, with careful positioning, some other vehicles.
  • Ammo & Armor Caches: Refill ammunition and provide Armor Plates before entering a cooldown.

The 3D Printer at your FOB can also give hints about where specific Ingredients are likely to appear, making targeted resource runs easier to plan.

Vehicles and Moving Around Hajin

Hajin is large enough that vehicles will be an important part of efficient DMZ runs. Unlike MW4 Warzone vehicles, DMZ vehicles have limited fuel and require repairs after taking damage.

Gas Stations can repair and refuel vehicles, so their locations may become important when planning longer routes.

Ground Vehicles

Confirmed ground vehicles include:

  • Camper
  • Sedan
  • Grizzly
  • Dreadnought
  • Polaris Dagor A1
  • LTV
  • Cargo Truck
  • D50 Radar Flatbed with a vehicle-mounted UAV

The Polaris Dagor A1 and LTV can also be purchased as paid infiltration options before Dynamic Operations and Free Roam deployments.

Trains and Monorail

Hajin has an automated Train running through several areas of the map. Hajin City also has an elevated Tram that follows a circular route around the city outskirts.

Neither system is directly controlled by the player, which means they can function as predictable rotation routes.

Boats and Aircraft

The RHIB provides fast water movement, while the Heli gives players direct control of an aircraft.

A Helicopter can also be selected as a 50,000 DMZ Cash infiltration option, while the 100,000 DMZ Cash Cargo Plane gives your squad control over the exact area where you drop into Hajin.

The Monarch heavy-lift helicopter remains part of the wider infil and exfil systems rather than a normal free-roaming vehicle.

How Extraction Works in MW4 DMZ

Standard exfil sites are selected from a pool of locations around Hajin and marked by green smoke. Calling an exfil brings in a Twin Heli, but you must hold the area until it arrives while enemy pressure increases.

Exfil locations are also obvious ambush points for other squads, so reaching the smoke does not mean the deployment is over.

Alternate Exfil Methods

Infinity Ward has confirmed alternatives to the normal helicopter extraction, including:

  • Fulton balloon
  • Flare extraction

Exactly how every alternate extraction item is obtained and what limits apply to each method still needs final launch verification.

Radiation and the Deployment Timer

The HUD includes a Time Remaining indicator that tracks when the radiation storm will become more dangerous across Hajin. As conditions worsen, you need to move toward an exfil or risk being caught in increasingly hostile conditions.

What Happens When You Die?

A failed extraction has several consequences, but your long-term DMZ progression does not stop. DMZ XP earned during the deployment still counts toward your Level 1-70 progression.

If your Active Duty Operator is eliminated, they become MIA and cannot deploy again until recovered or dismissed. Recovering the Operator costs DMZ Cash based on their Trait Points and preserves their Traits, but their carried equipment is lost.

Items inside upgraded Backpack Secure Slots survive a failed extraction. Other Backpack and Loadout items can be lost.

This creates a balance between protecting a highly developed Operator and deciding when it is cheaper to dismiss them and start over.

Best Way to Progress Quickly in MW4 DMZ

The exact launch meta will only become clear once players can test Hajin properly, but the confirmed progression systems already show how efficient runs should be structured.

Instead of spending an entire deployment farming only one activity, build routes that progress several systems at the same time.

MW4 DMZ efficient progression guide covering objectives combat and looting

  • Select useful DMZ Orders before deploying. Orders provide DMZ progression, Resources, loot, and Cash while often overlapping with other objectives.
  • Combine Story Missions or Dynamic Operations with Orders. Completing objectives simultaneously gives more value from each deployment.
  • Loot while moving toward objectives. Resources and Printer Ingredients support crafting, FOB upgrades, MIA recovery, and Prestige requirements.
  • Chain Dynamic Operations when your run is going well. Successful chains improve Supply Drops from Common to Uncommon and then Rare.
  • Balance Objectives, Combat, and Looting. All three contribute to the After Action Report rating.
  • Extract new Recipes and Weapon Manuals. Both permanently expand your FOB options.
  • Develop specialized Operators. Use Warfighter, Scout, and Survivalist Trees to build Operators for specific jobs.
  • Use Free Roam for targeted farming. It is ideal for Ingredients, Bounties, Orders, and exploration.
  • Protect high-Trait Operators. MIA recovery becomes more expensive as an Operator develops.
  • Upgrade your Stash and FOB. Permanent upgrades make future deployments more efficient.
  • Know when to extract. A new Recipe, Weapon Manual, rare Ingredient, or Lieutenant Dog Tag Case can be worth more than one extra objective.

We will refine this section with tested XP routes, best FOB upgrade priorities, and efficient Operator Prestige strategies once DMZ becomes playable.
