MW4 Weapon Leveling & Prestige FAQ

MW4 Weapon Leveling & Prestige Boosting progresses the weapons you select from their current level toward Max Level, Weapon Prestige 1, or Weapon Prestige Master. Choose your weapon and target progression and our booster earns the required Weapon XP, unlocking attachments, Apex Attachments, Weapon Prestige rewards, and Prestige levels along the way.
Yes. Choose Weapon Leveling when you only want to take a weapon from its current level to a higher level or Max Level. You do not need to enter Weapon Prestige unless Prestige progression is part of your selected target.
Yes. This service also covers MW4 Weapon Prestige Boosting. If your weapon is already Max Level, you can continue directly into Weapon Prestige 1 or progress through Weapon Prestige Master toward the higher Prestige milestones.
An MW4 Weapon XP Boost is another term for Weapon Leveling. Your selected weapon earns Weapon XP through normal gameplay until it reaches the level, Max Level, Prestige stage, or Prestige Master target included with your order.
Weapon Leveling unlocks Gunsmith Attachments, Military Camo progression milestones, Special Camo access, Reticle opportunities, and the weapon's Apex Attachment at Max Level. Reaching Max Level also makes the weapon eligible to enter Weapon Prestige.
Yes. Modern Warfare 4 awards a new Attachment each time a supported weapon gains a level. The available attachment types depend on the weapon and can include Optics, Muzzles, Barrels, Underbarrels, Magazines, Grips, Stocks, Lasers, Ammunition, and other Gunsmith options.
Apex Attachments are specialized high-end weapon modifications earned by fully leveling supported weapons. They can significantly change how a weapon handles, fires, or performs and are equipped separately from normal Gunsmith attachments without consuming a standard Attachment slot.
Yes. Reaching a supported weapon's Max Level unlocks its Apex Attachment and gives you the option to enter Weapon Prestige. Max Weapon Level is therefore the endpoint of normal Weapon Leveling and the starting point of the Prestige journey.
No. Maximum Weapon Level varies by weapon. The Gunsmith Progression menu shows the exact level cap for each gun. For example, the HAN 86 has 72 normal weapon levels, while other weapons use different progression lengths.
Modern Warfare 4 launches with 33 weapons: 24 Primary Weapons, 8 Secondary Weapons, and one Melee weapon. Choose from the supported weapons currently available in the service calculator.
Yes. Choose one weapon, several individual guns, complete weapon categories, or a larger weapon collection where available. Each weapon can have its own current level and target progression.
A larger MW4 Max Weapon Level Boost can cover multiple or all supported launch weapons shown in the calculator. This can prepare a broader arsenal for attachments, Apex Attachments, camo challenges, and Weapon Prestige progression.
Yes. Multiplayer gameplay awards Weapon XP to the weapon being used, allowing normal Weapon Levels, attachments, Max Level, and later Prestige progression to be completed through Multiplayer.
Yes. DMZ also awards Weapon XP, so weapons can be leveled through Hajin deployments. Weapon progression is shared rather than maintaining a separate DMZ weapon-level track.
MW4 progression expands into Call of Duty: Warzone with Season 1. Supported MW4 weapon progression and unlocks then become part of the shared ecosystem rather than requiring an entirely separate weapon-level grind.
MW4 Weapon Prestige is optional long-term progression for a weapon that has already reached Max Level. Entering Weapon Prestige lets you relevel that weapon, earn exclusive Prestige icons, and progress through the evolving Pyroclast Prestige Camo rewards.
First take the selected weapon to its normal Max Weapon Level. Once fully leveled, the Gunsmith gives you the option to enter Weapon Prestige 1.
Entering Weapon Prestige 1 resets that weapon to Level 1 and relocks its normal attachments. You also receive a new Weapon Prestige icon displayed in Gunsmith and on the Killcam and begin the Prestige leveling journey.
Apex Attachments and Weapon Blueprint Attachments remain unlocked when you enter Weapon Prestige 1. Normal attachments associated with the prestiged weapon are relocked and earned again as the weapon levels.
No. Prestiging one weapon does not relock Shared Attachments on your other weapons. Shared Attachment progression you already earned elsewhere remains available where applicable.
No. Blueprints, Camos, Reticles, Accessories, Decals, and Stickers are maintained when entering Weapon Prestige. Prestige resets the weapon's level and normal attachment progression, not the cosmetic collection already earned for that weapon.
Pyroclast is the first Weapon Prestige cosmetic reward. It unlocks immediately when the selected weapon enters Weapon Prestige 1 Level 1.
Pyroclast Terminus unlocks when the weapon reaches its Max Level again during Weapon Prestige 1. It represents completion of the first full Prestige releveling cycle.
After reaching Max Level again in Weapon Prestige 1, the weapon automatically enters Weapon Prestige Master. It does not reset to Level 1 a second time, and all attachments earned during Prestige 1 remain available while you continue gaining Weapon Levels.
Pyroclast Scatter unlocks when the selected weapon reaches Weapon Prestige Master Level 150.
Pyroclast Cascade is the final current Weapon Prestige Camo and unlocks at Weapon Prestige Master Level 250.
The current Weapon Prestige reward journey extends through Prestige Master Level 250, where Pyroclast Cascade unlocks. The earlier major milestones are Prestige 1 Level 1, Prestige 1 Max Level, and Prestige Master Level 150.
No. Weapon Prestige belongs individually to each weapon and begins after that weapon reaches Max Level. Player Prestige belongs to your overall Multiplayer Player Level progression after Level 55 and uses the separate Regular and Classic Prestige tracks.
No. Pyroclast, Pyroclast Terminus, Pyroclast Scatter, and Pyroclast Cascade belong to Weapon Prestige. Gold, Platinum, Harmonic Break, and Divergence belong to the separate Completionist Camo progression.
No. Weapon customization, including Camos, is maintained when the weapon enters Prestige. Your previously unlocked Completionist, Mastery, Special, Military, and other cosmetic progression is not deleted by Weapon Prestige.
Yes. Select your current Weapon Level or Prestige position and the target you want. Existing normal levels, Prestige 1 progress, Prestige Master levels, attachments, and already unlocked Prestige rewards are taken into account.
Yes. Double Weapon XP Tokens increase the rate at which Weapon XP is earned and can accelerate both normal Weapon Leveling and the releveling required through Weapon Prestige.
Completion time depends on the weapon, its current level, its individual Max Level, target progression, number of weapons selected, available Double Weapon XP, and whether you only need normal levels or extended Weapon Prestige Master progression to Level 150 or 250.
Yes. Weapon XP and Prestige progression are earned manually through normal MW4 gameplay. We do not use cheats, unlock tools, bot lobbies, scripts, hacks, mods, or unauthorized gameplay automation.
After checkout, confirm the weapon or weapons selected, their current progression, and whether your target is a normal Weapon Level, Max Level, Weapon Prestige 1, Prestige Master Level 150, or Prestige Master Level 250. Your assigned booster then earns the required Weapon XP until every purchased target is complete.

How does MW4 Weapon Leveling & Prestige Boosting work?

MW4 Weapon Leveling & Prestige Boosting combines normal Weapon XP progression and Modern Warfare 4's long-term Weapon Prestige system into one service.

Choose the weapon or weapons you want to progress and select your target: a specific Weapon Level, Max Level, Weapon Prestige 1, or Weapon Prestige Master progression. Our booster earns the required Weapon XP through normal gameplay until the selected target is reached.

Normal Weapon Leveling unlocks Gunsmith Attachments and ultimately the weapon's Apex Attachment. Reaching Max Level then opens the optional Weapon Prestige journey, allowing you to relevel the weapon and continue toward Prestige Master Level 250 and its exclusive progression rewards.

MW4 Weapon Leveling and Weapon Prestige Boost

Level any MW4 weapon from its current level to Max Level.

Choose a single weapon, several guns, or a larger weapon collection and progress only the levels you still need.

Every supported weapon has its own progression track and individual maximum Weapon Level. As Weapon XP is earned, new Gunsmith Attachments become available until the weapon reaches Max Level.

You can therefore use the service for:

    • Short current-to-target Weapon Leveling
    • Full Level 1 to Max Weapon progression
    • Multiple weapons or complete weapon categories
    • A larger Max Weapon Level package
    • Preparation for Camo progression
    • Preparation for Weapon Prestige

Earn Weapon XP and unlock Gunsmith Attachments.

Modern Warfare 4 ties normal weapon progression directly to Weapon XP.

Every time a supported weapon gains a level, another Attachment becomes available for use in Gunsmith. Depending on the weapon, these can include:

    • Optics
    • Muzzles
    • Barrels
    • Underbarrels
    • Magazines
    • Rear Grips
    • Stocks
    • Lasers
    • Ammunition
    • Other weapon-specific attachment types

This makes a Weapon XP Boost useful even when you do not intend to Prestige: reaching the required levels gives you more options for building the loadout you actually want.

Reach Max Weapon Level & unlock Apex Attachments.

Max Level represents the end of a weapon's normal leveling track.

Fully progressing a supported weapon unlocks its Apex Attachment, a specialized modification capable of significantly changing the weapon's behavior or combat role.

Apex Attachments are equipped separately from standard Gunsmith Attachments and do not consume one of your normal Attachment slots.

Reaching Max Level also unlocks the option to begin Weapon Prestige, making it the connection point between standard Weapon Leveling and the extended Prestige grind.

Choose from MW4's 33 launch weapons.

Modern Warfare 4 launches with 33 weapons across its Primary, Secondary, and Melee categories.

    The launch arsenal includes:

    • 8 Assault Rifles
    • 5 SMGs
    • 2 Shotguns
    • 3 LMGs
    • 3 Marksman Rifles
    • 3 Sniper Rifles
    • 4 Pistols
    • 4 Launchers
    • 1 Melee weapon

Select from the supported weapons shown in the calculator and configure the progression target separately for each gun.

Level MW4 weapons in Multiplayer or DMZ.

Weapon XP is not locked to one mode.

At launch, your weapons can gain levels through both Multiplayer and DMZ, allowing the same weapon progression to support loadouts across MW4's different experiences.

This also means progression earned naturally during DMZ weapon use contributes toward the same levels and attachment unlocks used by the weapon in Multiplayer.

Starting with Season 1, Modern Warfare 4 progression also expands into Call of Duty: Warzone.

Enter MW4 Weapon Prestige after reaching Max Level.

Normal Weapon Leveling is only the first stage for players who want to completely progress their favorite weapons.

Once a weapon reaches its Max Level, Weapon Prestige becomes available.

Entering Weapon Prestige 1 starts a second leveling journey for that specific weapon and unlocks additional Prestige rewards, icons, and the evolving Pyroclast cosmetic progression.

Because Weapon Prestige belongs individually to each weapon, you can Prestige one favorite gun without having to Prestige the entire arsenal.

Weapon Prestige 1 resets levels & normal attachments.

Entering Weapon Prestige 1 resets the selected weapon back to Level 1.

Its normal Attachments are relocked and earned again while you progress through the Prestige leveling cycle.

However, Weapon Prestige does not completely wipe everything you already earned.

You immediately gain a new Weapon Prestige icon visible through Gunsmith and on the Killcam and begin progressing through the Weapon Prestige reward track.

Keep Apex Attachments, Blueprints & weapon cosmetics.

Weapon Prestige is a progression reset, not a complete inventory reset.

    When entering Prestige 1:

    • Apex Attachments remain unlocked
    • Weapon Blueprint Attachments remain unlocked
    • Shared Attachments are not relocked on other weapons
    • Blueprints remain unlocked
    • Camos remain unlocked
    • Reticles remain unlocked
    • Accessories remain unlocked
    • Decals and Stickers remain unlocked

The main grind being restarted is the selected weapon's own level and normal Attachment progression.

Reach Weapon Prestige 1 & unlock Pyroclast.

The first Weapon Prestige reward is earned immediately after committing the weapon to Prestige.

At Weapon Prestige 1 Level 1, the weapon unlocks Pyroclast, the first stage of MW4's evolving Weapon Prestige cosmetic.

From there, the weapon must be leveled through its progression track again to reach the next major Prestige milestone.

This makes a Weapon Prestige Boost useful when you want to skip the second full leveling cycle rather than stopping after the initial Max Level grind.

Reach Prestige 1 Max Level & unlock Pyroclast Terminus.

After entering Prestige 1, continue earning Weapon XP until the weapon reaches its maximum progression again.

Reaching Weapon Prestige 1 Max Level unlocks Pyroclast Terminus.

This completes the reset-and-relevel stage of Weapon Prestige.

Once that Max Level milestone is reached, MW4 automatically moves the weapon into Weapon Prestige Master.

Continue into MW4 Weapon Prestige Master.

Weapon Prestige Master works differently from the first Prestige cycle.

    When Prestige Master begins:

    • The weapon does not reset to Level 1 again.
    • Your earned Attachments remain available.
    • You receive a new Weapon Prestige Master icon.
    • The weapon continues gaining additional Prestige Master Levels.
    • Further Pyroclast milestones become available.

This makes Weapon Prestige Master a long-term Weapon XP grind rather than another repeated Attachment reset.

Reach Weapon Prestige Master Level 150.

The first major Master Prestige reward arrives at Weapon Prestige Master Level 150.

Reaching that milestone unlocks Pyroclast Scatter, a rapidly animated evolution of the Weapon Prestige cosmetic.

Choose Level 150 as your target when you want the first Prestige Master cosmetic without continuing all the way through the full Level 250 progression.

Reach Weapon Prestige Master Level 250.

The current Weapon Prestige reward journey culminates at Prestige Master Level 250.

Reaching Level 250 unlocks Pyroclast Cascade, the final current stage of the evolving Pyroclast Weapon Prestige cosmetic.

A complete Weapon Prestige order can therefore progress your selected weapon from its current normal level through Max Level, Prestige 1, the second Max Level cycle, and eventually Prestige Master Level 250.

Weapon Prestige and Player Prestige are different systems.

Modern Warfare 4 uses Prestige in two separate progression systems.

Weapon Prestige belongs individually to a weapon after it reaches Max Level and leads into the Pyroclast progression.

Player Prestige begins after Multiplayer Player Level 55 and uses the separate Regular Prestige and Classic Prestige tracks.

This service targets Weapon Levels and Weapon Prestige only. It does not require you to reset or progress your overall Player Prestige.

Weapon Prestige and Completionist Camos are also separate.

Weapon Prestige is not part of the standard Gold-to-Divergence camo grind.

    The Completionist Camos are:

    • Gold
    • Platinum
    • Harmonic Break
    • Divergence

The Weapon Prestige cosmetic progression is:

    • Pyroclast
    • Pyroclast Terminus
    • Pyroclast Scatter
    • Pyroclast Cascade

Prestiging your weapon does not erase the Camos you already unlocked through the separate Completionist or Mastery progression.

Continue from your existing Weapon Level or Prestige progress.

You do not need to start from Weapon Level 1 when you already completed part of the grind.

Configure the service around your current position, including:

    • Current normal Weapon Level
    • Max Weapon Level
    • Weapon Prestige 1
    • Current Prestige 1 Weapon Level
    • Weapon Prestige Master
    • Current Prestige Master Level
    • Level 150 target
    • Level 250 target

Your booster then earns only the Weapon XP required between your current progression and selected target.
