How does MW4 Reticle Boosting work?
MW4 Reticle Boosting lets you unlock the exact Optic Reticles you want without completing every unrelated sight challenge in Modern Warfare 4.
Choose any supported individual Reticle, several Reticles from the same Optic, or complete the entire Reticle progression for an Optic. Your booster equips the required sight and earns the remaining ADS eliminations needed to reach each purchased unlock.
Existing progress is fully supported. If your next Reticle challenge is already partially complete, the booster continues from the eliminations currently registered rather than restarting the grind.
Buy any MW4 Reticle you want.
MW4 contains hundreds of Reticle unlocks spread across dozens of Optic Attachments.
Instead of purchasing one fixed Reticle package, choose exactly what you need:
- One individual MW4 Reticle
- Several Reticles from the same Optic
- A later Reticle in an Optic progression
- Reticles across several different Optics
- Full completion of one Optic's Reticle collection
- Only the remaining progress on a partially completed Reticle
This makes it possible to target a specific sight picture you actually want instead of grinding Reticles you do not plan to use.
Continue from partial MW4 Reticle progress.
You do not need to pay for ADS eliminations that are already registered toward your next Reticle milestone.
If an Optic is partially progressed, the booster checks the current challenge and continues from where you stopped.
For example, if you have already completed most of the eliminations required for your next Reticle, only the remaining progression needs to be finished before that Reticle unlocks.
Already unlocked Reticles also remain completed, allowing larger Optic completion orders to begin from your current position in the progression ladder.
MW4 Reticles unlock in order.
Each Optic has its own sequential Reticle progression.
ADS eliminations advance that Optic toward its next Reticle milestone. Once the milestone is reached, the next Reticle unlocks and progression continues toward the following reward.
This means a later Reticle cannot simply be skipped to while earlier Reticles on the same Optic remain locked.
If you want a later Reticle, every missing prerequisite Reticle must also be included with your order. If those earlier Reticles are already unlocked on your account, you can begin directly from the next one you need.
Complete every Reticle for your favorite Optic.
If one individual Reticle is not enough, complete the entire remaining progression for the Optic you use most.
Current MW4 Reticle tracking lists 40 Optics and 520 individual Reticle unlocks, with different Optics containing different-sized progression collections.
A Full Optic Completion takes the selected sight from its current progression point through every remaining Reticle milestone.
Existing Reticles remain counted, so an Optic that is already partially completed does not need to start again from its first challenge.
Unlock Mini Reflex & Reflex Reticles.
MW4 provides multiple close-range sight categories for players who prefer a clean, fast sight picture.
Mini Reflex and Reflex Optics have their own Reticle progressions, including different dot, cross, post, circle, chevron, and hybrid designs.
Choose one specific Reticle or complete the full progression for the sight you use on your Assault Rifles, SMGs, Shotguns, LMGs, or other compatible weapons.
Activision has also confirmed the return of the highly recognizable blue dot Reticle within MW4's Reticle progression.
Unlock Holo & 4x Scope Reticles.
Players looking for a larger sight picture can also unlock complete Reticle collections for Holo and 4x Scope Optics.
These categories include both standard and thermal options, each offering different sight pictures for close-to-medium and medium-range engagements.
Reticle designs include traditional posts and crosses alongside more specialized circles, chevrons, grids, holdover markings, and other aiming patterns.
Each individual Optic tracks its own progression, so completing one Holo or 4x Scope does not automatically unlock the Reticles on another Optic.
Unlock Marksman & Rifle Scope Reticles.
MW4's longer-range Optics also feature extensive Reticle customization.
Marksman Scope and Rifle Scope Reticles include precision designs intended for more accurate long-range aiming, with options such as crosshairs, graduated markings, range-finding grids, holdover patterns, and other specialized layouts.
Both thermal and non-thermal long-range Optics can have their own Reticle progression.
Choose the exact scope Reticle you want or complete the full collection for one of your preferred Marksman or Sniper Optics.
Unlock MW4 Thermal Reticles & thermal effects.
Thermal Optics have additional customization beyond simply changing the shape of the aiming point.
Activision designed MW4's custom Thermal Reticles so different Reticle options can also provide different thermal visual effects.
This lets you keep an Optic whose magnification, housing, and handling you like while changing the thermal presentation and Reticle used inside the sight.
Thermal Reticles still use the same basic progression concept: equip the relevant Optic and complete its required ADS eliminations to unlock the next option.
Reticle progress belongs to the Optic, not the weapon.
You are not forced to complete an entire Reticle grind using one specific gun.
MW4 tracks Reticle progression on the Optic Attachment itself. Because most Optics are Shared Attachments, the same Optic can be equipped across several compatible weapons while continuing the same Reticle progression.
This lets the booster use an appropriate weapon while keeping every qualifying ADS elimination focused on the Optic included with your order.
Switching to another compatible weapon does not restart the Reticle challenge as long as the same required Optic remains equipped.
Reticle progress carries across MW4 modes.
MW4 does not maintain a separate copy of each Reticle progression for every mode.
Eligible ADS eliminations earned with an Optic contribute toward the same progression across supported modes such as Multiplayer and DMZ, with Activision also confirming shared Reticle progression for Warzone.
Once a Reticle has been unlocked for a specific Optic, it remains available on that Optic across supported modes.
This makes Reticle progression an account-wide Optic customization system rather than a Multiplayer-only cosmetic grind.
Unlock all Reticle color variants together.
Some MW4 Reticle designs include several color variants.
You do not need to repeat the challenge independently for every color. Once the required Reticle milestone is reached, all associated color variants of that design unlock together.
This gives you additional customization choices without multiplying the ADS elimination requirement for every visual color option.
After the unlock is completed, select your preferred Reticle and color through Gunsmith > Appearance > Reticle.
Keep your unlocked Reticles through Weapon Prestige.
Weapon Prestige and Reticle progression are separate systems.
Prestiging a weapon can relock attachments on that individual weapon as it returns to classic Weapon Level progression, but Reticles you already earned remain unlocked.
Shared Optics can also remain available through other compatible weapons that have not been Prestiged, allowing Reticle progression to continue without losing previously completed Reticle rewards.
Your Reticle collection therefore remains valuable even while progressing Weapon Prestige and Pyroclast Camos on individual weapons.
What happens after I buy MW4 Reticle Boosting?
After checkout, your order is assigned to an experienced Modern Warfare 4 player and you receive access to your personal tracking page.
Confirm the Optic, Reticles included with your purchase, and any existing partial progress toward the next unlock.
Your booster equips the required Optic on a compatible weapon and completes the remaining ADS eliminations until every Reticle milestone included with the order has been reached.
If you selected a later Reticle, progression moves through any missing prerequisite Reticles in the correct order before the final target can unlock.
