CoD Black Ops Cold War & Warzone Season 5 Info & Dates Hey everyone! Today I’m going to talk about CoD Black Ops Cold War’s Season 5. I'll outline the most important changes to the game, additions, and new stuff, and will also include a start & end date.

When Does CoD Cold War Season 5 Start?

CoD Cold War Season 5 starts on August 13th, 2021.

When Does CoD Cold War Season 5 End?

CoD Cold War Season 5 ends on October 13th, 2021.

New Operators

New operator Kitsune is available instantly when you purchase the Battle Pass for Season 5. The Kyubi skin for Kitsune will also be given out if you purchase the pass before August 31st, 2021.

Later in the season, new operators Stryker and Jason Hudson will be available via an Operator bundle.

New Weapons

A New Assault rifle called EM2 will be unlockable on Tier 15 of the Battle Pass. An SMG called TEC-9 will be unlockable on Tier 31 of the Battle Pass.

Another melee weapon Cane is also joining the roster and can be unlocked via an in-game challenge. On top of that, last season weapons C58 and MG 82 are now also unlockable via an in-game challenge.

New Maps and Modes

New maps Echelon (6v6) and Slums (6v6) have been added to Multiplayer rotation, while new map Showroom (2v2 and 3v3) has been added to Gunfight and Face-Off modes.

A new Double Agent mode has been added to Multiplayer where Operatives and Investigator have to look for clues and then eliminate the Double Agents in order to secure a win, while Double Agents must eliminate all Operatives and the Investigator to win, or detonate all bombs.
