Hey everyone, Season 5 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare is now here and I’m here to tell you the most important info and additions coming to the game.

My squad of CoD Modern Warfare boosters are looking forward to this patch to try out new weapons and the new operator.

When Does CoD Modern Warfare Season 5 Start?

Season 5 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare started on August 5th, 2020.

When Does CoD Modern Warfare Season 5 End?

Season 5 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare ends on October 5th, 2020. However, this date could vary by a few days, I will update it as soon as I know the official end date.

Season 5 Changes

I will now list all the Season 5 changes and additions.

New Season 5 Weapons

A new assault rifle was added called AN-94 and a new SMG called ISO.

You can check how these weapons will perform on our CoD Modern Warfare weapon tier list. Later in the season, a new weapon will be added that’s currently unknown and Dual Kodachis melee weapon.

New Operators

On the launch of the season a new operator Lerch has been added, and later in the season an operator called Velikan will be added.

New Maps

Ground War: Verdansk International Airport, Gunfight: Livestock and new multiplayer maps Petrov Oil Rig and Suldal Harbor.

Also a new multiplayer mode called Search and Destroy Double Down has been added where players play 12v12 instead of 6v6.

A new mode called Bare Bones and Ground War Reinforce will be added later in the season.

Warzone Updates

The map has now opened up the Stadium, Train, Train station Interior. A new mode called Mini Royale has been added which is fast paced compared to the regular modes.

Later in the season a new mode King Slayer will be added.
