Overwatch BlizzCon 2026 Rewards: Free Mythic, Drops & Skins

Want the free Overwatch BlizzCon rewards without missing a deadline? The September 12–13 streams offer four OWWC skin variants, six Loot Boxes, and 1,000 Cheer across two separate days. Blizzard has also announced a free Mythic Voucher for playing one game.

This guide covers the daily Drops, the Mythic Gift, and the World Cup Cheer Rally. If you are starting on September 13, focus on the Domina reward track because the Jetpack Cat campaign was scheduled for September 12.

Overwatch BlizzCon 2026 Rewards at a Glance

Blizzard lists a separate Overwatch reward track for each day of the BlizzCon 2026 Overwatch World Cup Finals on its official Esports rewards page. There are 10 watch-time tiers per day, with each tier giving one main reward plus 50 Cheer Currency.

That means there are 20 main watch-time rewards across the weekend. If the 20 separate Cheer grants are counted too, the official Overwatch Esports rewards page lists 40 individual reward entries across September 12 and 13.

The combined viewing tracks offer four World Cup skin variants and six Loot Boxes, including four Esports Loot Boxes. These are the full-weekend totals, not what a player can earn from September 13 alone.

Important: these totals only cover the BlizzCon viewership campaigns. The separate World Cup Cheer Rally can award up to 15 additional Esports Loot Boxes, 12 regional OWWC skin variants, regular Loot Boxes, XP, icons, and titles if you complete all three conference tracks.

How to Get the Free BlizzCon Mythic Voucher

Blizzard's BlizzCon announcement adds a separate in-game gift:

• Earn: Play one game after the September 12 Opening Ceremony.
• Redeem: Use the voucher in the Mythic Shop for one eligible Seasons 1–14 bundle.
• Included: The base skin and all standard customization levels. Aspects are excluded.
• Already own every eligible base skin? Blizzard offers 50 Mythic Prisms instead.
• Deadline: Earn and redeem the voucher by October 5, 2026.

Check the eligible selection before choosing. This gift does not require stream watch time and is separate from the OWWC skins below.

When Are the Overwatch BlizzCon Drops?

The Overwatch BlizzCon 2026 viewership rewards are available on September 12 and September 13, 2026. Each day has its own campaign, with the final reward requiring eight hours of eligible viewing. Progress from the September 12 campaign does not carry into September 13.

• September 12: Jetpack Cat rewards and Day cosmetics

Overwatch BlizzCon 2026 Schedule

The table below shows Blizzard's published Overwatch schedule. September 12 sessions have already taken place; September 13 includes the semifinals, medal matches, and QuestWatch.

Times are in Pacific Daylight Time (PDT, UTC−7), which is BlizzCon's local time in Anaheim. A match start time is not necessarily the start or end of its Drop campaign, so check the campaign timer on your viewing platform.

QuestWatch is Overwatch's first live TTRPG adventure. Matt Mercer acts as Game Master, with Overwatch voice actors taking part in an original QuestWatch story. Its September 13 session starts at 12:00 PM PDT.

Overwatch World Cup 2026 Playoff Schedule

Eight teams qualified for the BlizzCon playoff bracket. Quarterfinals were scheduled for September 12, followed by semifinals and medal matches on September 13. The published start times below may shift if matches run long.

You do not need to watch one specific matchup to build Drop progress. You can switch between eligible channels on the same streaming platform without resetting your progress.

For the eight-hour rewards: do not estimate progress from the match schedule alone. Start an eligible broadcast early, check that your tracker is advancing, and follow the campaign's actual closing time. Only coverage that qualifies for the active campaign counts.

Stay on the same streaming platform while completing a daily track. Blizzard says Twitch and YouTube progress is not synchronized.

All Overwatch BlizzCon Rewards for September 12

The September 12 track featured Jetpack Cat. It required two hours for the Home skin and four hours for the Away skin.

Missed Day 1? September 13 viewing does not count toward this earlier campaign. If you earned a reward on September 12, check your platform for an outstanding claim.

Completing the eight-hour track awarded one regular Loot Box and two Esports Loot Boxes.



Completing every Day 1 milestone gives 500 Cheer Currency in addition to the cosmetics and Loot Boxes.

All Overwatch BlizzCon Rewards for September 13

September 13 is the Domina reward day. It uses a fresh track, so you can earn these rewards even if you missed September 12.

You again need eight hours for the complete track, with the first Domina skin at two hours and the Away version at four.



Finishing Day 2 provides 500 Cheer Currency. Players who also completed Day 1 can receive 1,000 Cheer total across the two campaigns.

How Many Free Loot Boxes Can You Get From BlizzCon?

Completing both BlizzCon viewership tracks gives six Loot Boxes total:

• 2 regular Loot Boxes
• 4 Esports Loot Boxes

Each day offers three: one regular Loot Box at 30 minutes and Esports Loot Boxes at six and eight hours. A player starting on September 13 can earn that day's three boxes.

However, that is not the full picture if you are also completing the World Cup Cheer Rally. The live Rally reward breakdown offers up to 15 Esports Loot Boxes across the three conference passes, plus regular Loot Boxes and other rewards.

The important distinction is:

• BlizzCon viewing only: 6 Loot Boxes
• Cheer Rally: Up to 15 additional Esports Loot Boxes, plus regular Loot Boxes

The Rally Loot Boxes are not automatically awarded just for watching BlizzCon. You must earn Cheer and spend it through the AMER, EMEA, and ASIA reward tracks.

All Free BlizzCon OWWC Skins

Four World Cup skin variants are included directly in the BlizzCon watch rewards. You do not need to open a Loot Box and hope to get them.

Jetpack Cat

Domina

Four hours on each day is enough for all four direct skin variants. If you missed September 12, four hours on September 13 earns the two Domina variants. The later milestones add sprays, Esports Loot Boxes, and more Cheer.

The separate Cheer Rally adds another 12 OWWC skin variants if you complete all three conference reward tracks.

What Are Overwatch Esports Loot Boxes?

Esports Loot Boxes are a separate type of Overwatch Loot Box used as rewards around competitive Overwatch broadcasts and events.

For BlizzCon, Blizzard gives one at six hours and another at eight hours on each day. That makes four Esports Loot Boxes across the full weekend.

The BlizzCon reward guide does not list the entire item pool inside these boxes, so you should not treat a specific esports skin as guaranteed. You can inspect the available rewards from the Loot Box menu in-game.

The Jetpack Cat and Domina OWWC skins listed above are direct viewership unlocks, not random drops from these boxes.

How the 1,000 Cheer Currency Reward Works

Every BlizzCon Overwatch watch-time milestone also gives 50 Cheer Currency. There are ten milestones on each day.

• 10 rewards × 50 Cheer on September 12 = 500 Cheer
• 10 rewards × 50 Cheer on September 13 = 500 Cheer
• Maximum BlizzCon total = 1,000 Cheer

Blizzard's main BlizzCon guide labels it Event Currency, while the Overwatch Esports rewards page identifies it as Cheer Currency. It is used for the World Cup Cheer Rally.

Each complete Rally conference track requires 2,000 Cheer. This means the 1,000 Cheer from watching both BlizzCon days is enough to cover half of one complete conference track.

How to Get the Overwatch BlizzCon Drops

Connect everything before you start watching. Blizzard's Overwatch Esports reward rules include several details that are easy to miss.

1. Log into the Battle.net account you use for Overwatch and open Account Settings → Connections.
2. Select Connect beside Twitch or the eligible streaming platform and finish the account-linking steps.
3. Use a supported device. PC/Mac browsers and eligible Android or iOS streaming apps support Drops.
4. Open a participating Overwatch World Cup or Overwatch BlizzCon broadcast on September 12 or 13.
5. Stay signed into the connected streaming account while watch time builds.
6. Check the Drops or rewards tracker to confirm your progress is increasing.
7. Claim the rewards through the platform's Drops or rewards interface after they unlock.
8. For September 13, confirm that you are progressing the separate Domina campaign.

Do not rely on a console app, smart TV app, embedded player, or other TV app for Drop progress. Blizzard says those devices do not support earning and claiming these rewards.

You also do not need to claim each milestone before progress starts on the next one. Your watch-time progression can continue, but earned rewards must still be redeemed within the allowed claim period.

Blizzard's Esports FAQ gives seven days after a campaign ends to claim earned Drops, while the page also directs players to campaign-specific rules. Claim as soon as each reward is available and follow any earlier deadline shown by your platform.

Claimed rewards can take up to 72 hours to appear in-game. The claim period does not give you extra time to earn watch hours, and you should collect Cheer promptly if you plan to spend it before the Rally closes.

BlizzCon Attendee Pass Linking Deadlines

Different reward packages have different pass-linking dates:

• Ultimate Collection: Link your BlizzCon Pass to Battle.net by September 14, 2026.
• Attendee viewership rewards: The general BlizzCon Viewership Guide lists September 18, with delivery by September 28.

The Overwatch-specific pre-show guidance also uses September 14. Link by September 14 to cover the earlier deadline. Online viewers earn Drops by linking their streaming accounts; they do not need a BlizzCon Pass.

Should You Watch on Twitch or YouTube?

Both Twitch and YouTube are eligible for the September 12 and 13 Overwatch rewards, but progress is not synchronized between eligible streaming platforms.

You can switch between eligible channels on the same platform without losing that platform's progress. For example, Blizzard says you can move between OW_Esports and PlayOverwatch on the same platform and keep your accumulated watch time.

Watching several channels at the same time does not make the reward timer increase faster.

There is also no confirmed way to earn two copies of every reward by running Twitch and YouTube together. The safest strategy is to pick one platform for each daily reward track and stay there until you reach the milestone you want.

If you use YouTube, make sure you are linking an eligible personal account. Blizzard says brand accounts are not currently supported for account linking.

World Cup Cheer Rally Rewards Are Separate

The World Cup Cheer Rally is a separate in-game Overwatch event running from September 1–14, 2026. Players earn Cheer from challenges and eligible Overwatch World Cup broadcasts, then spend it on one of three conference reward tracks.

The three tracks are:

• AMER: Venture and Sierra OWWC Home and Away skins
• EMEA: Freja and Hazard OWWC Home and Away skins
• ASIA: Wuyang and Juno OWWC Home and Away skins

Each conference pass needs 2,000 Cheer to complete. Finishing all three therefore costs 6,000 Cheer total.

Completing all three tracks gives access to a large reward pool that includes:

• 12 OWWC Hero skin variants across six Heroes
• Up to 15 Esports Loot Boxes
• Additional regular Loot Boxes
• Battle Pass XP
• Conference player icons
• Conference Believer titles
• AMER, EMEA, and ASIA Superfan milestone titles

You are not locked to one conference. You can finish one track and then spend your remaining Cheer on another.

How Much Cheer Can You Earn?

The event offers four daily challenges worth 125 Cheer each, for 500 Cheer per daily set. Check your in-game countdown for the remaining challenge and spending time.

A player who completed every daily challenge from the start of the September 1 event could earn up to 7,000 Cheer from dailies across all 14 days. That is more than the 6,000 required to finish all three conference tracks.

However, daily challenges are time-limited. If you started the Rally late or missed several days, you cannot count on the full 7,000 Cheer from dailies anymore. Use confirmed weekly challenges and the BlizzCon viewership rewards to make up part of the difference.

The confirmed weekly challenge set awards:

• 750 Cheer: Play 25 games
• 1,000 Cheer: Play 40 games

Wins and Stadium matches give double progress toward those match-count challenges.

Weekly challenge warning: do not budget a second 1,750 Cheer unless those challenges are actually available in your client. Earlier player reports described missing resets, but those reports do not establish the current status for every account.

The two BlizzCon tracks add up to 1,000 Cheer, including 500 from September 13. If you are starting late, count your current balance, the challenges still shown in-game, and the viewing milestones you can finish before the campaign closes.

For example, one complete remaining daily set plus the full September 13 viewing track provides 1,000 Cheer. That is half a conference pass, so it does not by itself complete a 2,000-Cheer track.

There is also a community-wide competition attached to the event. The conference with the most Cheer at the end of the Rally becomes the global winner. Players who participated will receive a weapon charm themed around the winning conference, and Blizzard says the winning region will also appear through a special Easter egg on future maps.

Optional Opera GX World Cup Rewards

The official World Cup Finals guide also lists an Opera GX promotion with 21 daily cosmetic rewards during September. This is a separate promotion, outside the Twitch and YouTube totals above.

Blizzard directs players to install Opera GX and sign up for GX Rewards through the browser's sidebar. Making it the default browser unlocks an additional Esports Loot Box. Check the promotion's current availability and requirements before taking part.

Free BlizzCon Rewards vs Paid Overwatch BlizzCon Bundle

The free watch rewards and Mythic Gift are separate from the paid Overwatch BlizzCon Bundle available through Battle.net. The prices below are in US dollars; regional storefront prices can differ.

You do not need to buy either bundle to earn the September 12 and 13 viewership rewards.

The individual Overwatch bundle is mainly for players who specifically want Lich Queen Mei and Ana's Frostmourne Weapon Skin. The free World Cup skins are earned through viewing instead.

The BlizzCon Ultimate Collection is included with a BlizzCon Pass. Players who are not attending can buy the Ultimate Collection separately for $49.99.

Blizzard says the Digital Bundles and Ultimate Collection remain available through September 28, 2026.

For in-person attendees, link your BlizzCon Pass to Battle.net as early as possible. Because Blizzard's Overwatch-specific guidance currently lists September 14 while the general BlizzCon guide lists September 18, using September 14 as the deadline is the safest option.

Are the Overwatch BlizzCon Rewards Worth Getting?

The most useful viewing target is four hours for both skin variants on the active day. The full-weekend totals require completing both separate daily campaigns.

The best stopping points depend on what you want:

• 30 minutes: Get the regular Loot Box.
• 2 hours: Get the first Hero skin.
• 4 hours: Get both Hero skins for that day.
• 6 hours: Get the first Esports Loot Box.
• 8 hours: Complete the full daily reward track.

On September 13, four hours earns both Domina skins. Continue to eight hours if you also want the later Loot Boxes, Cheer, and cosmetics.

For the Cheer Rally, the full September 13 track supplies 500 Cheer. Check that you still have time to receive and spend it.

Use the campaign timer and progress tracker to plan your viewing. The published match schedule does not guarantee a set number of eligible hours.

Can I earn September 12 rewards by watching on September 13?
