Looking for ARC Raiders weapon camos but unsure where to find them or how they work? Weapon Stencils let you customize your guns with unique colors and patterns, but you must unlock each design and collect Stencil Parts before using it. This guide covers all 14 ARC Raiders Weapon Stencils, where to get them, compatible weapons, application costs, and how to unlock your favorite camos without endless farming.
What Are Weapon Stencils in ARC Raiders?
Weapon Stencils are cosmetic skins that change the appearance of your guns in ARC Raiders. Introduced with the Frozen Trail update, they let you give compatible weapons new colors, patterns, and, in some cases, more detailed visual decorations.
Unlike weapon upgrades or attachments, Stencils provide no gameplay advantage. They do not increase damage, improve recoil, change handling, or make your weapon stronger.
The system works similarly to blueprints, but there is an important difference: unlocking a Stencil does not automatically customize every weapon you own. You must apply the learned design to each compatible gun and spend Stencil Parts whenever you do so.
Here are the most important things to know:
- Permanent unlocks: Once learned, a Stencil remains available in your collection.
- Weapon compatibility: Some designs work on many guns, while others only fit one or two specific weapons.
- Stencil Parts: Applying a design costs materials, with rarer Stencils requiring more Parts.
- Weapon-specific applications: A Stencil is applied to an individual gun, not every copy of that weapon.
- Extraction risk: Other Raiders can take a customized weapon if you lose it during a raid.
You can see how differently Stencils can change a weapon's appearance in the Fortuna and Verdigris previews below.
According to
Embark's official Frozen Trail patch notes, the game introduced 14 Weapon Stencils across three different unlock sources. Not all of them can be found through normal looting.

14 Weapon Stencils in ARC Raiders, including eight found Topside, five unlocked through the Frozen Trail Premium Reward Pass, and one exclusive to the Collector Set DLC.
The table below lists every design, its rarity, unlock source, Stencil Parts cost, and compatible weapons. The Parts cost is for applying a learned Stencil to one weapon, not for learning the design itself.

Important: Verdigris, Garnet, and Ochre have the widest compatibility, covering the 20 standard firearms listed in the current Stencil collection. Other designs have a fixed selection of compatible guns. Always check the in-game Stencils menu before spending Parts, especially as new weapons are added.
How to Get Weapon Stencils in ARC Raiders
ARC Raiders has three main ways to unlock Weapon Stencils. The method depends on which design you want, so checking its source first can save a lot of unnecessary farming.
1. Topside Weapon Stencils
Eight Weapon Stencils are available as loot during normal raids. They appear as collectible items that you can extract and learn, similar to weapon blueprints.
The eight Topside camos are:
- Verdigris: Uncommon, 2 Stencil Parts per application.
- Garnet: Uncommon, 2 Stencil Parts per application.
- Ochre: Uncommon, 2 Stencil Parts per application.
- Cerulean: Rare, 4 Stencil Parts per application.
- Dusty Camo: Rare, 4 Stencil Parts per application.
- Milky Terracotta: Rare, 4 Stencil Parts per application.
- Slipstream: Epic, 7 Stencil Parts per application.
- Tortoise: Epic, 7 Stencil Parts per application.
These are the designs to focus on if you prefer exploring maps and collecting cosmetics through regular gameplay. However, because they are random loot, finding one particular design is not guaranteed during any single raid.
If you want a specific Topside Stencil instead of relying on random drops, you can also choose it through our ARC Raiders Camos service.

2. Frozen Trail Premium Reward Pass Stencils
Five Stencils are exclusive to the Frozen Trail Premium Reward Pass. Unlike the eight Topside designs, these are tied to Reward Pass progression rather than ordinary container drops.
The Premium Stencils are:
- Fortuna: Epic Stencil for the Anvil, unlocked at Level 11.
- Sacrifice: Epic Stencil for the Renegade, unlocked at Level 23.
- Bulwark: Legendary Stencil for the Hullcracker, unlocked at Level 35.
- Serac: Legendary Stencil for the Bobcat, unlocked at Level 47.
- Empyrean: Epic Stencil for the Osprey, unlocked at Level 57.
The Frozen Trail Premium Track costs 1,150 Raider Tokens. You progress through its levels by earning Reward Points from Feats and other eligible progression sources.
These five Stencils are not part of the normal Topside loot pool. If you're interested in unlocking them, our
ARC Raiders Reward Pass Guide explains Premium rewards, Reward Points, and how Pass progression works.
3. Dragon's Breath Collector Set Stencil
Dragon's Breath is the only Stencil exclusive to the Frozen Trail Collector Set DLC. It is a Legendary design compatible with the Tempest and costs 15 Stencil Parts per application.
The Collector Set also includes Frozen Trail Premium Reward Pass access, Raider Tokens, and other cosmetics. You cannot unlock Dragon's Breath by farming ordinary Topside containers.
You can check the complete DLC contents in
Embark's official Collector Set announcement.
How to Farm ARC Raiders Camos and Weapon Stencils
The eight Topside Stencils can be found while scavenging during raids. However, unlike quest items with fixed objective locations, Weapon Stencils do not currently have a verified, guaranteed farming route for each design.
Your best approach is to search plenty of containers while completing other raid objectives. Focus on valuable loot opportunities rather than repeatedly visiting one unconfirmed spawn point.
Best Ways to Find Topside Stencils
- Search containers thoroughly: Check lockers, bags, crates, and other loot containers during your normal routes.
- Explore locked rooms: Key rooms can offer valuable loot opportunities, making them worth searching when you already have access.
- Combine farming with other objectives: Look for Stencils while collecting materials, completing quests, or farming blueprints.
- Extract safely: Once you find a Stencil you need, avoid unnecessary fights that could cost you the item.
- Check your collection: Keep track of which Stencils you have already learned so you can prioritize missing designs.
For example, a Stencil can appear directly inside a loot container, as shown in the screenshot below.
Can you farm a specific Stencil? You can keep searching for a particular design, but no confirmed method guarantees that the next container will contain Garnet, Slipstream, Tortoise, or any other Topside Stencil.
Because each Stencil has its own rarity, finding all eight can take considerably longer than finding your first few designs. Treat Stencil farming as an extra goal during normal raids rather than assuming every run will produce a new cosmetic.

ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Guide.
How to Learn and Apply a Weapon Stencil
Finding a Stencil is only the first step. You must learn the design and apply it to a compatible weapon before you can see the new appearance in-game.
The process is straightforward once you understand how the collection and application menus work.
Step-by-Step Weapon Stencil Application
- Step 1: Obtain a Stencil. Find it during a raid or unlock it from its specific Reward Pass or DLC source.
- Step 2: Extract with the item. If you found a physical Stencil Topside, successfully return to Speranza with it.
- Step 3: Open your inventory. Locate the unlearned Stencil item that you extracted.
- Step 4: Learn the design. Use the Learn and Consume option to add it permanently to your collection.
- Step 5: Select a compatible weapon. Choose the gun you want to customize from your inventory or Stash.
- Step 6: Open the Stencils menu. Access the customization option for your selected weapon.
- Step 7: Preview the design. Choose an available learned Stencil and check how it looks on the weapon.
- Step 8: Apply the Stencil. Confirm the selection and spend the required Stencil Parts.
The screenshot below shows the Verdigris Stencil being applied to a Bettina through the weapon customization menu.
Once you apply the design, that specific weapon receives the new appearance. The weapon's tooltip also displays its equipped Stencil, making it easier to identify customized guns in your inventory.
Remember: Learning a Stencil is permanent, but applying it is not a one-time cost for your entire weapon collection. If you want the same design on another copy of a weapon, you must spend Stencil Parts again.
How Many Stencil Parts Do You Need?
Stencil Parts are a material used to apply learned Weapon Stencils. The number required depends on the design's rarity, with Legendary patterns costing considerably more than Uncommon camos.
The application costs follow four rarity tiers.
| Stencil Rarity |
Parts Required |
Examples |
| Uncommon |
2 |
Verdigris, Garnet, Ochre |
| Rare |
4 |
Cerulean, Dusty Camo, Milky Terracotta |
| Epic |
7 |
Slipstream, Tortoise, Fortuna, Sacrifice, Empyrean |
| Legendary |
15 |
Serac, Bulwark, Dragon's Breath |
For example, applying Verdigris to a Bettina costs only 2 Stencil Parts. Applying the Legendary Serac design to a Bobcat costs 15 Parts for each weapon you customize.
You can see the different requirements in the Stencil tooltips below, which show the application costs for Sacrifice, Serac, and Bulwark.
Where to Find Stencil Parts
Stencil Parts can be collected through scavenging during Topside raids. They are found in loot areas such as Commercial, Residential, and Industrial zones, and some Reward Pass rewards also provide Stencil Parts.
There is no confirmed guaranteed farming location or reliable Parts-per-raid rate. The most practical strategy is to collect them alongside your normal raid loot and save enough for the designs you use most often.
Keep in mind that learning a new Stencil does not give you unlimited free applications. The design stays unlocked, but you still need the necessary materials whenever you customize another gun.
Which ARC Raiders Camos Work on the Most Weapons?
Not every Weapon Stencil can be used on every gun. Some designs are made for a single weapon, while others work across a much larger part of the arsenal.
If you frequently switch between different weapons, compatibility is one of the most important things to consider before spending time farming a specific design.
Best Stencils for Multiple Weapons
Verdigris, Garnet, and Ochre offer the widest compatibility among the available Stencils. Each is listed for 20 standard weapons, making them especially useful if you regularly switch between the Bettina, Anvil, Bobcat, Stiletto, and other common firearms.
They are also the least expensive designs to apply, requiring only 2 Stencil Parts per weapon. This makes them practical choices for Raiders who frequently lose or replace their equipment.
Best Stencils for Specific Weapons
If you mainly play with one favorite gun, a more specialized design might be a better choice.
- Anvil: Fortuna, Slipstream, Tortoise, Cerulean, and the three broad-use colors.
- Bobcat: Serac, Cerulean, and the three broad-use colors.
- Renegade: Sacrifice, Milky Terracotta, and the three broad-use colors.
- Osprey: Empyrean, Cerulean, and the three broad-use colors.
- Hullcracker: Bulwark.
- Tempest: Dragon's Breath, Dusty Camo, and the three broad-use colors.
- Rattler: Tortoise, Slipstream, Dusty Camo, and the three broad-use colors.
Some Legendary Stencils provide more noticeable changes to a weapon's appearance, but this does not make them stronger in combat. The right choice depends on which gun you enjoy using and which visual style you prefer.
If you want to collect as many designs as possible, start with the eight Topside Stencils and then work toward the Premium Reward Pass exclusives.
Get ARC Raiders Weapon Stencils Without Farming
Finding a particular Weapon Stencil can take time because Topside drops are random. You might find several copies of one design while still missing the exact camo you want for your favorite gun.
Our
ARC Raiders Camos - Weapon Stencils Boost lets you choose from the eight Topside designs instead of repeatedly searching containers and hoping for the correct drop.
You can select individual Stencils such as Garnet, Cerulean, Verdigris, Ochre, Dusty Camo, Milky Terracotta, Tortoise, or Slipstream. There is also an All Stencils Bundle option for players who want the full Topside collection.
This service focuses on the eight lootable Stencils. Frozen Trail Premium Reward Pass designs and the Collector Set-exclusive Dragon's Breath are separate unlocks and are not included in the standard Topside Stencil selection.

What Happens If You Lose a Weapon With a Stencil?
One important detail about ARC Raiders Weapon Stencils is that
the appearance is attached to the physical weapon. If you lose the gun during a raid, the Stencil applied to that specific weapon goes with it.
For example, imagine you apply the Legendary Serac Stencil to your Bobcat and bring it into a raid. If another Raider defeats you and takes that Bobcat, they receive the customized weapon with the Serac appearance still applied.
However, this does not remove Serac from your learned Stencil collection. The original design remains permanently unlocked on your account.
If you acquire another compatible Bobcat, you can apply Serac again by spending another 15 Stencil Parts. You do not need to unlock the original design a second time.
This makes Stencil Parts an ongoing resource for players who frequently use customized guns, especially when applying Epic or Legendary designs that cost more materials.
ARC Raiders Weapon Stencils FAQ
How many Weapon Stencils are in ARC Raiders?
ARC Raiders introduced 14 Weapon Stencils with the Frozen Trail update. Eight can be found Topside, five belong to the Frozen Trail Premium Reward Pass, and one comes from the Collector Set DLC.
Are Weapon Stencils permanent in ARC Raiders?
Yes. Once you learn a Weapon Stencil, the design stays unlocked in your collection. However, applying it to an individual gun still costs Stencil Parts, and the customized weapon can be lost during a raid.
Are ARC Raiders Weapon Stencils the same as weapon skins?
Yes. Weapon Stencils are ARC Raiders' cosmetic weapon customization system. They change the appearance of compatible guns without improving weapon stats or combat performance.
Can you lose a Weapon Stencil?
You can lose a weapon that has a Stencil applied to it, but you do not lose the design you already learned. You can customize a replacement weapon using the same Stencil whenever you have enough Parts.
Can every Stencil be used on every weapon?
No. Compatibility depends on the Stencil. Verdigris, Garnet, and Ochre work across a broad selection of standard weapons, while exclusive designs such as Serac, Bulwark, and Fortuna are limited to specific guns.
How do you get Stencil Parts in ARC Raiders?
Stencil Parts can be found while scavenging during Topside raids. Some Reward Pass rewards also include them. You need between 2 and 15 Stencil Parts for each application, depending on the design's rarity.
Do Weapon Stencils improve weapon stats?
No. Weapon Stencils are purely cosmetic and do not affect damage, recoil, fire rate, handling, or other weapon performance statistics.
Can you trade Weapon Stencils in ARC Raiders?
Unlearned Topside Stencils are physical loot items, so sharing them may be possible through normal in-raid item handoffs. This is different from transferring a learned design, which stays with the account that unlocked it. Premium Reward Pass and DLC Stencils should not be treated as ordinary tradable loot.
Can you unlock all ARC Raiders camos by farming?
No. Normal Topside farming only covers eight of the 14 Stencils introduced with Frozen Trail. Five require the Premium Reward Pass, while Dragon's Breath is exclusive to the Collector Set DLC.
What are the best Weapon Stencils in ARC Raiders?
Verdigris, Garnet, and Ochre are strong choices for players who want affordable camos that work on many weapons. Legendary designs such as Serac and Bulwark offer more specialized visual customization, but the best choice ultimately depends on your favorite gun and personal preference.
