ARC Raiders Amplified Research Boost FAQ

ARC Raiders Amplified Research Boosting completes the Research Station projects required to permanently unlock advanced Amplified Weapon perks such as X-Rounds, Drum Mag, Sprint Shooting, Scoped, Incendiary Rounds, Anti-Shield, Ramping Damage, Semi-Auto, and other high-end weapon upgrades.
Each Amplified Research project permanently unlocks a specific Weapon Amplification perk for compatible fifth-quality Amplified Weapons. Once researched, that perk can be activated on any compatible weapon when you meet its individual weapon-upgrade requirements.
No. Research permanently unlocks access to the perk. Applying that perk to an individual Amplified Weapon is a separate step that can require additional crafting materials, an appropriate weapon branch, and sometimes earlier upgrades in the same Amplification tree.
Yes. Choose the specific weapon perk research you need instead of completing every project. This is useful when you already know which Amplified Weapon build you want and only need the research blocking that particular upgrade.
Yes. A complete Amplified Research package can finish all 15 current weapon-perk research projects, including their gameplay objectives, Research Points, required ARC components, and final Research Station completion.
Each of the 15 current Amplified Research projects costs 5,000 Research Points. Completing all 15 therefore requires 75,000 Research Points in addition to their individual ARC components and field objectives.
Yes, where Research Points farming is available in the calculator. Choose the amount of Research Points you need and the booster collects eligible Research Items Topside and studies them through your Research Station until the purchased amount is reached.
Amplified Weapon perk research requires a Level 4 Research Station. If your station has not reached Level 4 yet, the required Outpost and Research Station progression must be completed before the weapon-perk projects can be finalized.
Yes. The Research Station belongs to your Outpost. You must first unlock the Outpost and develop it far enough to support Research Station Level 4 before the full Amplified Research system becomes available.
The research projects themselves are completed through Research Station Level 4. Gunsmith Level 4 becomes relevant when you want to create and develop your own Amplified Weapons. Full Amplification progression therefore eventually uses both systems, but the perk research is stored through the Research Station.
Each project has two main stages. First, complete its combat, damage, enemy-destruction, or exploration objective. Then submit 5,000 Research Points plus the required ARC components at the Research Station. Completing both stages permanently unlocks the associated weapon perk.
Where these options are available, yes. Objectives-only completion handles the field assignment, while materials-only completion farms the ARC components required to finish the project. Full completion covers the objective, materials, Research Points, and final research unlock.
Existing progression is taken into account. If the objective is already complete, only the remaining Research Points and components need to be handled. If you already own the materials and points, the service can focus on the field objective where that option is offered.
Yes. Once a weapon-perk Research project has been completed, that research unlock remains permanently available on your account. You do not need to repeat the same project every time you build another compatible Amplified Weapon.
No. Research is tied to the perk itself, not one physical gun. For example, Embedded Blast Engineering unlocks X-Rounds for compatible Amplified Weapons such as Anvil, Bettina, and Kettle. Once researched, you do not repeat Embedded Blast Engineering separately for each compatible weapon.
The current set includes Action Economy, Beam Resonance Tech, Burst Assembly Recovery, Compact Combustion Charges, Embedded Blast Engineering, Extended Burst Cycles, High-Voltage Exposure, Magazine Geometry 101, Mobile-Fire Grip Fittings, Shield Stress Testing, Solid-Core Casting Tech, Targeted Component Trial, Thermite-Tipped Rounds, Top Mounted Optics Retrofittings, and Trigger Reset Systems.
No. Amplified Research Boosting permanently develops your account's research tree. Buying an Amplified Weapon gives you the finished physical gun but does not permanently unlock its research projects. Choose this service when you want to craft and customize your own compatible Amplified Weapons in the future.
Action Economy unlocks Ergonomic Bolt. Its field objective requires dealing 1,000 damage with a Hairpin in one raid. Completing the research then costs 5,000 Research Points and 8 Sentinel Firing Cores.
Beam Resonance Tech unlocks Ramping Damage for compatible Equalizer builds. Complete 1,500 damage to Vaporizers with an Equalizer in one raid, then submit 5,000 Research Points and 2 Queen Reactors.
Burst Assembly Recovery unlocks Burst Fire for the Amplified Burletta. Destroy 3 Shredders with a Raider Tool, then complete the project with 5,000 Research Points and 20 Pop Triggers.
Compact Combustion Charges unlocks Incendiary Grenades. Deal 3,000 damage with Blaze Grenades, then submit 5,000 Research Points and 5 Bombardier Cells.
Embedded Blast Engineering unlocks X-Rounds. Its current objective requires dealing 1,000 Light Impact Grenade damage to each of Fireflies, Hornets, Fireballs, and Surveyors. Final research costs 5,000 Research Points and 5 Rocketeer Drivers.
Extended Burst Cycles unlocks Increased Burst for compatible Aphelion and Burletta builds. Deal 10,000 damage with a Burst Burletta or Charged Burst Aphelion, then submit 5,000 Research Points and 10 Comet Igniters.
High-Voltage Exposure unlocks Charged Burst for the Amplified Aphelion. Destroy 5 ARC Turbines, then finish the research with 5,000 Research Points and 5 Leaper Pulse Units.
Magazine Geometry 101 unlocks Drum Mag for the Amplified Rattler. Deal 15,000 damage to Bastions with a Rattler and destroy 1 Bastion with a Rattler, then submit 5,000 Research Points and 5 Bastion Cells.
Mobile-Fire Grip Fittings unlocks Sprint Shooting. Visit Electrical Substation, Truck Stop, Old Town, Almatera Station, Researcher Lodgings, Deep-Space Telescope, and Commissary Supermarket in one raid. Current research requires 5,000 Research Points and 20 Skulker Targeters. Patch 2.1.0 corrected the requirement from the previously listed Skulker Drivers.
Shield Stress Testing unlocks Anti-Shield. Deal 700 damage to encountered Raiders, then submit 5,000 Research Points and 2 Matriarch Reactors to complete the research.
Solid-Core Casting Tech unlocks Slug Rounds. Destroy 50 flying ARC enemies using shotguns, then complete the project with 5,000 Research Points and 20 Tick Pods.
Targeted Component Trial unlocks Anti-Weak Point. Destroy 40 thrusters on flying ARC enemies and submit 5,000 Research Points plus 20 Fireball Burners.
Thermite-Tipped Rounds unlocks Incendiary Rounds. Destroy 30 Fireballs using Explosive Mines, then submit 5,000 Research Points and 5 Firefly Burners.
Top Mounted Optics Retrofittings unlocks Scoped. In one raid, visit Pilgrim's Peak on Blue Gate and deal 1,000 damage to ARC enemies with an Osprey. Final research costs 5,000 Research Points and 14 Snitch Scanners.
Trigger Reset Systems unlocks Semi-Auto. Destroy 5 Skulkers with a Raider Tool, then complete the research with 5,000 Research Points and 4 Vaporizer Regulators.
Completion time depends on the number of projects selected, objectives already finished, Research Points already available, required ARC components, map conditions, enemy availability, and prerequisite weapon builds. One research project is considerably faster than completing the full 15-project set.
Yes. Research objectives, Research Point farming, component farming, and Research Station progression are completed manually through normal ARC Raiders gameplay. We do not use cheats, bots, item duplication, exploits, hacks, or unauthorized gameplay automation.
After checkout, confirm the specific research projects or full research package included with your order and your current Research Station progression. Your booster then completes the required field objectives, farms missing Research Points and ARC components, and submits the projects until the purchased Amplified Research unlocks are permanently completed.

How does ARC Raiders Amplified Research Boosting work?

ARC Raiders Amplified Research Boosting completes the permanent Research Station projects required to unlock advanced perks for your Amplified Weapons.

Choose one specific Research project, several weapon perks, or the complete current research set. Depending on the selected service, our booster completes the required gameplay objective, farms the necessary ARC components and Research Points, and finishes the project through your Level 4 Research Station.

Completed research permanently unlocks perks such as X-Rounds, Drum Mag, Sprint Shooting, Scoped, Semi-Auto, Incendiary Rounds, Charged Burst, Ramping Damage, Anti-Shield, Anti-Weak Point, Slug Rounds, and more for compatible Amplified Weapons.

Choose specific research or unlock the complete set.

You do not need to research every perk when you only want one particular Amplified Weapon build.

Depending on the available calculator options, you can focus your order on:

    • One specific Amplified Research project
    • Several selected weapon perks
    • All 15 current Amplified Research projects
    • Research objectives only
    • Required research materials only
    • Research Points farming
    • Full research completion with objectives, materials, and Research Points

This makes the service useful both for one missing perk and for players who want the entire current Amplification research tree permanently completed.

Every Amplified Research project has two main stages.

Unlocking a Weapon Amplification is not simply a Research Points purchase.

Each project first requires a field assignment. Depending on the perk, this can involve dealing damage with a specific weapon, destroying particular ARC enemies, completing a PvP damage objective, or visiting several locations during one raid.

After the objective is complete, the project requires:

    • 5,000 Research Points
    • A project-specific set of ARC components

Once both stages are finished at the Research Station, the weapon perk becomes permanently available for compatible Amplified Weapons.

Reach Research Station Level 4 for weapon-perk research.

The high-end Amplified Research projects require a Level 4 Research Station inside your Outpost.

The Research Station is introduced through Frozen Trail's Outpost system and must be developed through its previous levels before Level 4 weapon research becomes available.

If you are building the entire Amplification system yourself, your wider progression also eventually includes Gunsmith Level 4 and an Amplified fifth-quality weapon. However, the permanent weapon-perk research itself is handled through Research Station Level 4.

Farm up to 75,000 Research Points for all 15 projects.

Every current Amplified Weapon research project costs 5,000 Research Points.

That means the complete 15-project set requires 75,000 Research Points before accounting for all of the separate ARC components and objectives.

Research Points are earned by extracting eligible Research Items from Topside and studying them through the Research Station.

If the weapon projects are already available but Research Points are your main bottleneck, choose Research Point farming instead of purchasing unrelated progression.

Unlock all 15 Amplified Weapon research perks.

The current Level 4 Amplified Research set contains:

    • Action Economy โ€“ Ergonomic Bolt
    • Beam Resonance Tech โ€“ Ramping Damage
    • Burst Assembly Recovery โ€“ Burst Fire
    • Compact Combustion Charges โ€“ Incendiary Grenades
    • Embedded Blast Engineering โ€“ X-Rounds
    • Extended Burst Cycles โ€“ Increased Burst
    • High-Voltage Exposure โ€“ Charged Burst
    • Magazine Geometry 101 โ€“ Drum Mag
    • Mobile-Fire Grip Fittings โ€“ Sprint Shooting
    • Shield Stress Testing โ€“ Anti-Shield
    • Solid-Core Casting Tech โ€“ Slug Rounds
    • Targeted Component Trial โ€“ Anti-Weak Point
    • Thermite-Tipped Rounds โ€“ Incendiary Rounds
    • Top Mounted Optics Retrofittings โ€“ Scoped
    • Trigger Reset Systems โ€“ Semi-Auto

Completing the entire set gives your account access to the full current collection of research-gated Amplification perks.

Complete weapon-specific damage & combat research.

Several Amplified Research projects require specific weapons or combat conditions before they can be purchased.

    • Action Economy โ€“ deal 1,000 damage with a Hairpin in one raid; 8 Sentinel Firing Cores.
    • Beam Resonance Tech โ€“ deal 1,500 damage to Vaporizers with an Equalizer in one raid; 2 Queen Reactors.
    • Extended Burst Cycles โ€“ deal 10,000 damage with a Burst Burletta or Charged Burst Aphelion; 10 Comet Igniters.
    • Magazine Geometry 101 โ€“ deal 15,000 damage to Bastions with a Rattler and destroy one Bastion with it; 5 Bastion Cells.
    • Top Mounted Optics Retrofittings โ€“ visit Pilgrim's Peak and deal 1,000 ARC damage with an Osprey in one raid; 14 Snitch Scanners.

Every project also requires the standard 5,000 Research Points when the field work is complete.

Complete ARC destruction & component research.

Other projects are built around hunting specific ARC enemies or destroying particular components:

    • Burst Assembly Recovery โ€“ destroy 3 Shredders with a Raider Tool; 20 Pop Triggers.
    • High-Voltage Exposure โ€“ destroy 5 ARC Turbines; 5 Leaper Pulse Units.
    • Solid-Core Casting Tech โ€“ destroy 50 flying ARC enemies with shotguns; 20 Tick Pods.
    • Targeted Component Trial โ€“ destroy 40 thrusters on flying ARC enemies; 20 Fireball Burners.
    • Thermite-Tipped Rounds โ€“ destroy 30 Fireballs using Explosive Mines; 5 Firefly Burners.
    • Trigger Reset Systems โ€“ destroy 5 Skulkers with a Raider Tool; 4 Vaporizer Regulators.

The booster handles both the required objective and component farming when full research completion is selected.

Complete grenade, PvP & exploration research.

The remaining projects use a wider range of objectives:

    • Compact Combustion Charges โ€“ deal 3,000 damage using Blaze Grenades; 5 Bombardier Cells.
    • Embedded Blast Engineering โ€“ deal 1,000 Light Impact Grenade damage to Fireflies, Hornets, Fireballs, and Surveyors; 5 Rocketeer Drivers.
    • Shield Stress Testing โ€“ deal 700 damage to encountered Raiders; 2 Matriarch Reactors.
    • Mobile-Fire Grip Fittings โ€“ visit all seven required Pendola Pass locations in one raid; current research uses Skulker Targeters.

These projects demonstrate why full Amplified Research requires more than simply farming Research Points: every perk has its own progression task and material gate.

Unlock X-Rounds for multiple Amplified Weapons.

Embedded Blast Engineering is one of the most useful examples of how Amplified Research is shared between weapons.

Completing the project permanently unlocks X-Rounds research for compatible Amplified weapons including Anvil, Bettina, and Kettle.

You do not have to repeat the same research project for every gun.

The individual weapon still needs the correct branch and materials to install X-Rounds, but the account-level research requirement is already complete.

Unlock Drum Mag for the Amplified Rattler.

Magazine Geometry 101 unlocks the Rattler's powerful Drum Mag branch.

The research requires 15,000 damage to Bastions with a Rattler and at least one Bastion kill using the Rattler, followed by 5 Bastion Cells and 5,000 Research Points.

On the weapon itself, the Drum Mag also sits behind the earlier More Reload node.

Once installed, the Amplified Rattler's Drum Mag can increase its magazine from the normal 24 rounds to 64 rounds, creating one of the most recognizable Frozen Trail Amplification builds.

Unlock Burst Fire, Charged Burst & Increased Burst.

Several research projects interact directly with advanced firing-mode branches.

    • Burst Assembly Recovery unlocks Burst Fire for Burletta.
    • High-Voltage Exposure unlocks Charged Burst for Aphelion.
    • Extended Burst Cycles unlocks Increased Burst for compatible Burletta and Aphelion builds.

Extended Burst Cycles has an important dependency: its damage objective requires either a Burst Burletta or Charged Burst Aphelion. The appropriate earlier progression therefore needs to be available before that specific objective can be completed.

Unlock Sprint Shooting with the current Patch 2.1.0 requirements.

Mobile-Fire Grip Fittings unlocks Sprint Shooting for compatible Amplified Weapons.

Its field objective requires visiting seven Pendola Pass locations during the same raid:

    • Electrical Substation
    • Truck Stop
    • Old Town
    • Almatera Station
    • Researcher Lodgings
    • Deep-Space Telescope
    • Commissary Supermarket

Patch 2.1.0 corrected the research component requirement from Skulker Drivers to Skulker Targeters. Current Research Station data lists 20 Skulker Targeters alongside the standard 5,000 Research Points.

Research unlocks the perk; weapon materials install it.

Amplified Research and Amplified Weapon crafting are connected but should not be confused.

Completing a Research Station project permanently removes the research gate for that perk.

The individual weapon can still require:

    • A fifth-quality Amplified weapon
    • A compatible upgrade branch
    • An earlier prerequisite node
    • Separate perk crafting materials
    • A branch that does not conflict with another installed upgrade

For example, researching Incendiary Rounds does not automatically add fire ammunition to every compatible weapon in your Stash. It makes the upgrade available for installation when the weapon itself meets its requirements.

Amplified Research and Buy Weapons serve different goals.

Choose Amplified Research Boosting when you want permanent account progression and the ability to develop your own Amplified Weapons using unlocked perk research.

Choose Buy Weapons when you simply want a finished Amplified Weapon delivered without personally completing its Outpost, workstation, module, and research progression.

Buying one finished gun does not permanently unlock its research tree. Completing Amplified Research does.

Keep all additional progression earned during the research grind.

Completing 15 research projects requires normal Topside gameplay across several enemy types, maps, weapons, and objectives.

Eligible additional progression earned naturally can include:

    • Research Items and additional Research Points
    • ARC components
    • Weapon and equipment loot
    • Materials and crafting resources
    • Quest and Project progression
    • Enemy and weapon-related challenge progress
    • Other Topside rewards successfully extracted during the service

Anything legitimately earned and retained during the service remains on your account. The guaranteed objective is the Amplified Research progression selected with your order.
