The Best 5 RP Scores System

Your position on the Ranked Ladder leaderboard is determined by your best 5 RP scores during the active Ladder period. This means you don't need every match to go perfectly to compete for a high placement.

Only your 5 highest-scoring Ranked matches count toward your leaderboard score

When you achieve a better RP score, it can replace one of your lower scores

Additional matches give you more opportunities to improve your final Ladder score

Bad games don't directly lower your Ladder score if you already have 5 better results

For example, you can play 50 or even 100 matches during a Ranked Ladder event, but only your 5 best RP scores will determine your final leaderboard score.

Qualification Requirements

To get started in a Ranked Ladder, you need to play at least 5 Ranked matches during the active Ladder period. Cross-play must also be enabled.

Once you have enough matches, your 5 best RP scores determine your position on the leaderboard and the reward tier you receive when the Ladder ends. Reaching the Top 10% of your leaderboard places you in Tier 1.

Normal Ranked Play Continues

It's important to understand that Ranked Ladders don't replace the existing Ranked system. All standard Ranked mechanics remain in effect.
