Marvel Rivals Season 3 has introduced an exciting new cosmetic system—Accessories. These adorable add-ons bring extra personality to your favorite heroes and give players new ways to customize their in-game look. But how do they work? What are Accessory Points? And how can you unlock them all?

In this guide, I’ll break down everything you need to know about Accessories and Accessory Points in Marvel Rivals, including how to earn them, where to spend them, and what plushies are currently available.

What Are Accessories in Marvel Rivals?

Accessories are cosmetic items tied to specific heroes in Marvel Rivals. Think of them like weapon charms in Apex Legends or Valorant—but instead of weapons, these accessories attach to your favorite character and come with a custom KO animation and screen sticker effect.

Key Features:

  • Hero-specific: You can’t equip an accessory on just any character

  • Works with any unlocked skin for that character

  • Each accessory includes an Effect (visual placement) and Display (KO screen sticker)

  • Each hero’s accessory is uniquely placed:

  • Emma Frost: on her wrist

  • Psylocke: tied to her katana

  • Jeff the Land Shark: hanging from his fin

  • These cosmetics don’t impact gameplay, but they add flavor and flair to eliminations.

How to Earn Accessory Points in Marvel Rivals

Earning Accessory Points in Marvel Rivals is tied directly to playing real matches. You won't earn any points from AI or practice modes—only Quick Play and Competitive games count toward your total.

    Accessory Point Breakdown

    Points earned per match:

  • 10 points per Quick Play match

  • 20 points per Competitive match

  • No points for Practice or VS AI matches

  • Double Point Bonus

For the first 200 Accessory Points earned each week, you'll receive a 100% bonus—meaning:

  • 20 points per Quick Play match

  • 40 points per Competitive match

  • This makes your first batch of weekly matches the most efficient, so try to hit the bonus threshold early for maximum gains.

    Weekly Cap and Reset Info

    Weekly Limit: 700 Accessory Points
Reset Time: Every Friday at 9:00 AM UTC
Carry Over: Unspent Accessory Points do not expire and will remain in your account until used

If you're focusing on Competitive mode, you can hit your weekly cap in roughly 18–20 matches—especially if you take advantage of the early-week double-point bonus.

    How to Spend Accessory Points

Once you’ve earned enough points, head to the Store and:

  • Select the “Accessories” tab in the sub-menu

  • Choose the accessory you want to unlock

  • Spend 1,350 Accessory Points to claim it

  • As of now, all accessories are priced at 1,350 Accessory Points. With the 700-point weekly cap, it takes at least two weeks of capped play to unlock one.

There’s a possibility that higher-tier cosmetics or paid options could arrive later, but for now, everything is earnable through gameplay.

  • At least two full weeks of maxing out your cap to unlock one

  • The first 200 points come faster due to the weekly bonus, so casual players won’t need to grind excessively if they play consistently each week.
