When Does Apex Legends Season 5 Start

Apex Legends Season 5 starts on May 12th, 2020.

When Does Apex Legends Season 5 End

Apex Legends Season 5 ends on August 18th, 2020. This is, of course, subject to change so check back regularly to find out the real end-date.

The first ranked split when we change the map from King’s Canyon to World’s Edge will be on June 30th, 2020.

Season 5 Changes

In this section I will cover all the changes and additions that come with Season 5.

Gameplay and Ranked Changes

While this is the game's Season 5, ranked season is actually Season 4. Or as they call it, Series 4.

- There will be no changes regarding ranked play, we will still see 6 week splits for a total of 12 weeks of season time.

- A long-awaited reconnect feature is being added, if you suddenly disconnect or crash, you can return back to the game.

- Kings Canyon map update

- Seasonal quests and treasure packs introduced
