WARDOGS Season 2 is live after launching on October 15, 2026. Update 0.2.0 introduced a progression reset, four new weapons, new vehicles, faster role leveling, and major cash economy changes. Since launch, BULKHEAD has removed Lonestar's bonus and addressed Driver progression issues. This guide covers the unlocks, wipe rules, cash farming methods, and latest Season 3 plans.

WARDOGS Season 2 Release Date and Current Status
WARDOGS Season 2 launched on
Thursday, October 15, 2026 as
Update 0.2.0. Scheduled maintenance began at 08:00 UTC. After a short extension, BULKHEAD confirmed that servers were back online at approximately 10:00 UTC.
The update introduced four weapons, four ground vehicle variants, new equipment, rain and thunder, a revised progression curve, and broad cash and combat balance changes. Several launch settings have already received backend corrections, so the original patch notes are not the final word on every reward and leveling mechanic.
For the complete list of launch additions, read the
official WARDOGS Season 2 patch notes. The post-launch corrections are explained further below.
Does WARDOGS Season 2 Have a Wipe?
Yes. WARDOGS uses seasonal progression resets, and Season 2 began a new progression cycle on October 15. Cash and leveling progress are seasonal, while BULKHEAD's previously announced wipe system is designed to preserve Gold Bars and permanent cosmetic rewards.
The intended fresh start was shorter than expected for some players. On October 17, BULKHEAD acknowledged that its faster progression allowed players to reach Tier 4 armor and main battle tanks within days. The studio is reviewing the pace of Season 2 rather than immediately wiping everyone again.
Here is the distinction between seasonal progression and permanent items under the developer's previously announced wipe rules:
| Progression or Item | Season 2 Wipe |
| Cash balance | Resets, with remaining cash converted into Gold Bars. |
| WARDOG and role XP | Seasonal progression resets. |
| Level requirements | Season 2 introduces a different progression curve and unlock order. |
| Gold Bars | Carry over between seasons. |
| Gold Market cosmetics | Permanent cosmetics carry over. |
| Vault items | Specific Season 2 treatment has not been detailed in the patch notes. |
The October 14 patch notes did not repeat every part of the earlier wipe policy or list the treatment of every previously purchased item. Gold Bars and permanent cosmetics have a different status from seasonal unlocks, but the next season's exact reset details remain unannounced.
What Happens to Cash and Gold Bars After a Seasonal Wipe?
Under BULKHEAD's announced seasonal system, cash left at the end of a season is automatically converted into Gold Bars. Gold Bars can be used in the Gold Market, and permanent Gold Market cosmetics are designed to carry over between seasons.
The exact conversion rate can change. Because Season 2 is already underway, focus on managing your current cash balance rather than following pre-launch advice about spending Season 1 cash. The studio has not yet confirmed the timing or full conversion details of the next reset.
Will WARDOGS Season 2 Be Wiped Again?
On October 17, BULKHEAD ruled out a sudden second wipe during the October 17โ18 weekend. Resetting everyone again immediately would also punish players already working through the new season.
Instead, the team said it was
considering moving Season 3 and some of its content significantly earlier to deliver a better fresh start. No Season 3 release date, replacement XP curve, or next wipe date has been confirmed. BULKHEAD said it would share further details in its next developer vlog.
This is separate from targeted penalties for players who abused an early Driver progression exploit. Account-specific XP and cash resets should not be confused with a general Season 2 wipe.
All New Weapons in WARDOGS Season 2
WARDOGS Season 2 introduces four weapons: the TCX-SPR, PP-19 Bizon, Evo-3 Ultra, and M14. Each serves a different role, with new attachments and progression requirements to unlock.

The following table includes the required class progression, one-time unlock cost, and individual vendor purchase price.
| Weapon | Type | Unlock Requirement | Vendor Price |
| TCX-SPR | Assault Rifle 7.62x39mm | Assault Level 20 $100,000 unlock | $3,200 |
| PP-19 Bizon | SMG 9x19mm | Medic Unlocked by default | $1,000 |
| Evo-3 Ultra | LMG .308 Win | Support Level 30 $200,000 unlock | $7,250 |
| M14 | Marksman Rifle .308 Win | Recon Level 25 $100,000 unlock | $7,400 |
The unlock cost and vendor price are not the same thing. For example, the TCX-SPR requires reaching Assault Level 20 and paying its $100,000 progression unlock fee, while purchasing the rifle from the vendor costs $3,200.
Which New Season 2 Weapon Should You Unlock First?
The
PP-19 Bizon is the easiest new weapon to access because its Medic progression unlock is available by default. Its $1,000 vendor price also makes it a relatively affordable option for early matches.
The
TCX-SPR is an attractive goal for Assault players because it unlocks at Level 20, which requires much less cumulative XP in the Season 2 launch curve. Support players can work toward the Evo-3 Ultra, while Recon players have the M14 as a new marksman rifle option.
Keep in mind that Season 2 also reduces base damage for several larger calibers. A weapon's raw damage may no longer perform the same way it did in Season 1, even if its role remains similar.
New WARDOGS Season 2 Vehicles and Unlock Requirements
Season 2 adds four ground vehicle variants, giving Driver players more options before reaching the expensive late-game vehicles. These include two Wolf-110 variants, the T-72B3 main battle tank, and the Flakpanzer Gepard anti-air vehicle.
All four new vehicles belong to the Driver progression track.
| Vehicle | Driver Level | Unlock Cost | Vendor Price |
| Wolf-110 | 8 | $50,000 | $2,200 |
| Wolf-110 [M2 Browning] | 16 | $125,000 | $7,800 |
| T-72B3 | 20 | $250,000 | $16,000 |
| Flakpanzer Gepard | 25 | $300,000 | $14,000 |
Wolf-110: New Light Transport Vehicle
The Wolf-110 is a fast, lightweight ground transport available at Driver Level 8. Its relatively low $2,200 vendor price makes it a practical choice for moving players and supporting ground logistics.
There is also an armed Wolf-110 variant fitted with an M2 Browning machine gun. That version requires Driver Level 16 and a $125,000 unlock, giving players a combat-focused vehicle before reaching the heavier tanks.
T-72B3: New Main Battle Tank
The T-72B3 becomes available at Driver Level 20 with a $250,000 unlock cost. It is slower than the L2A6, but its lower purchase price and slightly improved fuel efficiency make it an alternative for players who want heavy armor without the higher cost of the Leopard.
At $16,000 per vendor purchase, it is still a significant investment. Players planning to use the tank regularly should build a comfortable cash balance before deploying expensive armored vehicles.
Flakpanzer Gepard: New Anti-Air Vehicle
The Flakpanzer Gepard gives Driver players a dedicated anti-air vehicle. It unlocks at Driver Level 25 for $300,000 and costs $14,000 per vendor purchase.
This is particularly useful for teams struggling against enemy helicopters. Rather than focusing entirely on infantry combat, the Gepard offers a specialized way to protect teammates and challenge hostile aircraft.
What Changed for Helicopters in Season 2?
Season 2 does not introduce a completely new helicopter, but several existing aircraft receive important progression and pricing changes. The armed Little Bird with miniguns moves from Pilot Level 4 to Level 8, while its unlock fee increases from $50,000 to $125,000.
The Havoc also becomes more expensive to unlock, increasing from $500,000 to $650,000. On top of that, helicopter cockpit glass now takes damage from outgoing gunfire as well as incoming shots, making careless firing more costly.
New WARDOGS Season 2 Equipment, Weather and Features
Beyond the new weapons and vehicles, Season 2 expands the available equipment and building options. The update also introduces dynamic rain, thunder, new cosmetic rewards, and an experimental cash wagering system planned for later in the season.
New Molotov Cocktail
The Molotov Cocktail is a new Assault throwable designed for area denial and attacking enemy positions. It damages enemies on impact, leaves burning flames on the ground, and can destroy certain foliage.
You unlock the Molotov at
Assault Level 13 for $25,000, after which it costs $340 at the vendor. The flames are weakened by rain, so the new weather conditions can directly affect how useful the Molotov is in combat.
New MG Nest and Large Shelter
Three new structures join the building system: the MG Nest, Large Shelter, and Wooden Step. The first two are particularly useful for teams building defensive positions around active FOBs.
The
MG Nest is a manned M2 Browning emplacement that requires a Large Hammer and 650 build supplies. It gives defenders a fixed heavy machine gun position without needing an armed vehicle.

The
Large Shelter is a metal structure designed to provide cover for players and valuable assets. It can be constructed with a Medium Hammer or better and requires 250 build supplies.

The Wooden Step offers another basic construction option and can be built with a Small Hammer or better. However, Season 2 also increases the supply cost of many existing defenses, so teams will need to manage their building materials more carefully.
New Rain and Thunder Weather
Rain is one of the biggest environmental additions in WARDOGS Season 2. It changes how maps look and sound while introducing new tactical considerations during combat.

The new weather includes several gameplay effects:
- Wet surfaces, vehicles, and characters react visually to rainfall.
- Rain sounds different indoors, outdoors, and underneath cover.
- Thunder strikes are synchronized for all players on the server.
- Loud thunder can temporarily mask nearby footsteps.
- Enemy spotting range is affected by rainfall.
- Molotov flames become less effective in wet conditions.
This creates new opportunities for players who prefer flanking or close-range fighting. A well-timed push during a loud thunder strike may be harder for opponents to hear, while Recon players need to account for the reduced spotting range.
New Gold Market Camos and Wager Vendor
Eight new weapon and vehicle skins join the Gold Market across four cosmetic families. These include Black & Gold for the Little Bird, Chocolate Chip for three new weapons, Two-Tone Desert for the Galil, Mosin, and Havoc, and Digital Wood for the M500.
The
Wager Vendor is another planned Season 2 feature. It will let players bet their own in-game cash on their personal performance, with a tracker displayed above the minimap.
However, the Wager Vendor is
not available at Season 2 launch. BULKHEAD plans to introduce it later, and it is intended to be a temporary feature rather than a permanent vendor.
Limited Mode Servers and Future Loadouts
Following the Season 2 launch, BULKHEAD announced
Limited Mode servers designed to exclude power weapons and vehicles. CEO Joe Brammer also discussed a restricted format under the provisional name
Primitive Servers, giving players an option for lower-powered combat.
These servers are
not confirmed as live, and their final rules and launch date have not been announced. The studio has also discussed adding saved custom loadouts in a future update, but no date is confirmed for those either.
WARDOGS Season 2 Leveling and XP Changes
Update 0.2.0 reduced cumulative role XP requirements, especially between Levels 10 and 25. This made key weapons, vehicles, and equipment easier to reach, although BULKHEAD has since acknowledged that some players entered the endgame too quickly.
The biggest improvement is at
Level 20, which drops from 250,000 XP to 111,500 XP. That is a 55.4% reduction in the XP required to reach the milestone.
Season 1 vs. Season 2 XP Requirements
| Role Level | Season 1 XP | Season 2 XP | XP Reduction |
| 10 | 35,000 | 25,000 | 29% |
| 15 | 110,000 | 54,750 | 50% |
| 20 | 250,000 | 111,500 | 55% |
| 25 | 365,000 | 206,600 | 43% |
| 30 | 500,000 | 318,200 | 36% |
| 35 | 750,000 | 525,000 | 30% |
| 40 | 975,000 | 712,500 | 27% |
| 45 | 1,225,000 | 920,850 | 25% |
| 50 | 1,500,000 | 1,150,000 | 23% |
These are the
cumulative role XP targets from BULKHEAD's October 14 Season 2 patch notes. Some higher-level Season 1 figures differ from earlier published comparisons, so this table follows the developer's Season 2 chart. They are not per-level XP costs.
Post-launch Driver update: BULKHEAD later announced Driver progression fixes and a fix for an exploit that enabled players to access tanks earlier than intended. The studio has not published a replacement full XP table. Use the chart as the official launch comparison, not proof of a particular live Driver farming rate on every server.
The biggest reduction is in the middle of the leveling curve. This should make many important class unlocks easier to reach while keeping higher-level progression as a longer-term objective.
Important Class Unlock Changes in Season 2
The new XP curve is only part of the update. BULKHEAD also rearranged several unlock trees, moving weapons and equipment to different levels and even different progression tracks.
Here are some of the most important changes:
- WARDOG: Mechanical, ammo, and fuel supply pallets now have progression unlock requirements. The Gold Market unlock is placed at WARDOG Level 35.
- Assault: The AK74 is unlocked by default. C4 moves from Support to Assault, while the new Molotov and TCX-SPR join the track.
- Medic: The PP-19 Bizon is available by default, the Medical Bag moves from Level 24 to Level 14, and the MP5 becomes available at Level 4.
- Recon: The M14 joins at Level 25, while the BMR-308 moves down to Level 20.
- Support: The PKM moves to Level 15, the M249 moves to Level 20, and the new Evo-3 Ultra unlocks at Level 30.
- Driver: New vehicle milestones appear at Levels 8, 16, 20, and 25. The SPH-2 also moves to Driver Level 31.
- Pilot: The armed Little Bird with miniguns moves to Level 8, and several aircraft unlock fees increase.
These changes make choosing the correct role more important than simply farming as much total XP as possible. If you want the T-72B3, focus on legitimate Driver progression toward Level 20. If you want the M14, prioritize Recon. Do not rely on old Driver XP exploit routes that BULKHEAD has targeted in its backend fixes.

WARDOGS Season 2 Cash Farming and Economy Changes
WARDOGS Season 2 changes how players earn cash from combat, objectives, logistics, and spotting. Some activities now offer better rewards, while several popular farming methods have been reduced to discourage repetitive or low-risk grinding.
Understanding these changes is important because many of the new weapons and vehicles require large one-time unlock payments. Earning XP quickly will not help much if you cannot afford the equipment you unlock.
Best New Cash Rewards in Season 2
| Activity | Season 1 | Season 2 Reward |
| Assault archetype kill bonus | $1,500 | $2,000 |
| FOB hacking teammate reward | No nearby teammate reward | $1,000 + 250 XP |
| Hostile drill tower capture | $750 + 250 XP | $1,500 + 300 XP |
| FOB destruction bonus | Previous reward structure | Up to +$7,500 and +250 XP, based on stored supplies |
| Deploy supply pallet | $2,500 | $1,250 base reward, with delivery streak bonuses available |
One of the clearest improvements is the Assault kill bonus, which increases from $1,500 to $2,000. Players who regularly take part in infantry fights can benefit from the higher reward while also progressing their Assault class.
FOB hacking becomes more rewarding for coordinated teams. Nearby teammates can receive $1,000 and 250 XP, while the player performing the hack keeps the existing $2,500 and 250 XP reward.
Post-launch correction: The extra Lonestar faction bonus of 5% cash and 2.5% XP introduced with Season 2 was removed after it caused players to crowd the blue team. Do not include this bonus in current cash farming estimates.
New Logistics Delivery Streak Bonuses
BULKHEAD reduced several base logistics rewards, but introduced new streak bonuses to encourage repeat deliveries and proper vehicle use. The goal is to reward players who keep completing useful runs rather than abandoning vehicles after one delivery.
These are the updated streak bonus amounts for deliveries in the Control Zone:
| Delivery Streak | Bonus Per Action | Streak Limit |
| Consecutive crate deliveries | +$100 / +50 XP | 10 |
| Consecutive pallet deliveries | +$250 / +100 XP | 10 |
| Consecutive player deliveries | +$25 / +5 XP | 25 |
| Consecutive return trips | +$50 / +25 XP | 10 |
These values reflect BULKHEAD's corrected Control Zone reward figures. The original announcement initially displayed lower base design values before the developer updated the numbers to include the relevant zone multiplier.
For Driver and Pilot players, this makes consistent logistics routes worth considering. The base payout for individual deliveries may be smaller, but repeat runs can help compensate through the streak system.
Recon Spotting and Cash Farming Nerfs
Recon spotting rewards are approximately 30% lower in Season 2. Payouts also depend more heavily on the value of the spotted target, so valuable vehicles and structures are worth more than low-cost targets.
The update also addresses several farming exploits. Selling items repeatedly to the same buyer now produces diminishing returns, sales to enemy players no longer generate cash or XP, and FOB supply assist rewards are divided among contributors.
For consistent money farming, focus on useful combat, objective participation, and repeatable logistics. Avoid depending on methods that previously generated unusually large rewards from low-risk or repetitive actions.

Major WARDOGS Season 2 Combat and Faction Balance Changes
Season 2 changes how several popular weapons, armor types, vehicles, and factions perform. These adjustments are designed to reduce the advantage of certain high-damage weapons and encourage more varied gameplay.
Weapon Damage Nerfs and Armor Changes
Several larger ammunition calibers receive base damage reductions, affecting infantry weapons and compatible vehicle weapons.
| Ammunition Type | Base Damage Change |
| .308 Winchester | -25% |
| 7.62x54mmR | -20% |
| 7.62x39mm | -19% |
| .50 Cal | -16% |
These are changes to base caliber damage, not guaranteed reductions to every weapon's final damage in every situation. Sniper rifles receive additional hit-location adjustments to preserve their intended role, while DMRs are balanced to sit between assault rifles and dedicated snipers.
Higher-tier armor also becomes slightly less protective. Level 3 armor and helmets drop from 55% to 50% damage reduction, while Level 4 equipment drops from 65% to 60%.
The Level 4 helmet now comes with additional disadvantages, including muffled audio, a narrower field of view, and fogging while sprinting. Players will need to decide whether the extra protection is worth the visibility and hearing penalties.
Other notable weapon adjustments include increased MP5 horizontal recoil, stronger Super-45 damage falloff beyond 50 meters, and a 25% reduction to MGL-40 muzzle velocity.
Lonestar Bonus Removal and Faction Balance
Season 2 launched with extra income incentives for Lonestar, the blue faction, including a
5% cash bonus and 2.5% XP bonus. BULKHEAD removed these bonuses shortly after launch because they encouraged too many players to join Lonestar instead of balancing all three teams.
The original faction balance work included less visible Lonestar uniforms and changes to all three team spawn locations on Bakurani. The separate
20% vendor discount for any faction that falls at least 40 points behind second place was not included in the announced Lonestar bonus removal.
BULKHEAD also announced backend fixes for Driver progression and the exploit that allowed tanks to be unlocked prematurely. Players who abused the exploit can face temporary bans and account-specific cash and XP resets. See the
official developer backend update for the announced changes.
Map, Team Switching and Match Changes
To reduce team switching abuse, players face new restrictions when one team is more than 10 points ahead. After joining a team in that situation, switching again is restricted for 15 minutes.
Players who change factions or enter an ongoing match must also reach the control zone before receiving full map access or using the spawn vehicle. This makes it harder to exploit information and vehicle access through repeated switching.
Another important change is the
20% vendor discount for teams that fall at least 40 points behind second place. This applies to any faction, helping disadvantaged teams afford equipment and potentially recover during a difficult match.
Season 2 also introduces a team-kill Forgive or Punish system, improved squad intent options, and new region-based server ping limits.
Best Way to Start WARDOGS Season 2
The most efficient Season 2 strategy is to choose useful unlocks before spending hours farming XP and cash. Because BULKHEAD may move Season 3 forward, prioritize equipment you will actually use now instead of assuming the current season will run for a fixed number of weeks.
Here is a practical five-step approach for the new season:
- 1. Choose your main role. Pick the progression track connected to your target weapon or vehicle. Assault, Medic, Recon, and Driver have several attractive early and mid-level unlocks.
- 2. Use the published leveling milestones. Focus on useful role targets like Level 15, 20, or 25, while keeping in mind that Driver progression has already received backend fixes.
- 3. Build cash alongside XP. Remember that unlocking a vehicle or weapon may require a substantial one-time payment in addition to the level requirement.
- 4. Take advantage of improved rewards. Assault combat bonuses, FOB objectives, and logistics streaks all contribute to progression. Lonestar's special cash and XP bonus has been removed.
- 5. Avoid wasting money on unnecessary equipment. Start with affordable gear and save toward the unlocks that will have the biggest impact on your preferred playstyle.
For most players, it makes sense to establish a reliable source of cash before investing heavily in expensive vehicles. An early Wolf-110 or affordable infantry loadout may provide better value than repeatedly purchasing equipment you cannot comfortably replace.
If your main objective is unlocking the T-72B3, Gepard, TCX-SPR, or another high-level item, plan around both the XP requirement and the cash cost. Our WARDOGS Leveling and Cash Boosting services can also help you work toward those two progression goals without completing the entire grind yourself.
WARDOGS Season 2 FAQ
When did WARDOGS Season 2 launch?
WARDOGS Season 2 launched on October 15, 2026 as Update 0.2.0. Servers returned at approximately 10:00 UTC after an extended maintenance window.
Does WARDOGS Season 2 wipe everything?
No. Seasonal cash and level progression reset, while the announced wipe policy preserves Gold Bars and permanent Gold Market cosmetics. The Season 2 patch notes did not detail the treatment of every previously purchased unlock and Vault item.
Do Gold Bars carry over between WARDOGS seasons?
Yes, under BULKHEAD's announced seasonal system. Gold Bars and permanent Gold Market cosmetics are intended to carry over, while leftover seasonal cash is converted to Gold Bars during the reset. The rate for the next conversion has not been confirmed.
Is leveling faster in WARDOGS Season 2?
Yes. The published Season 2 role XP curve lowered requirements across key milestones. Level 20 dropped from 250,000 to 111,500 cumulative XP. Driver progression received later backend fixes, and BULKHEAD has acknowledged that overall progression became too fast for some players.
What are the new weapons in Season 2?
The four new weapons are the TCX-SPR assault rifle, PP-19 Bizon SMG, Evo-3 Ultra LMG, and M14 marksman rifle. Each has its own class progression path, with the PP-19 Bizon unlocked by default.
How do you unlock the T-72B3 in WARDOGS?
The T-72B3 requires Driver Level 20 and a $250,000 progression unlock. After unlocking it, the tank costs $16,000 per vendor purchase.
How do you unlock the Flakpanzer Gepard?
The Flakpanzer Gepard requires Driver Level 25 and a $300,000 progression unlock. Its vendor purchase price is $14,000.
What is the fastest way to earn cash in Season 2?
Combat, FOB objectives, and repeatable logistics are important cash sources. Assault kill bonuses are higher than in Season 1, and logistics streaks reward consistent deliveries. Lonestar's original bonus no longer applies, and several older farming methods have been nerfed.
Does Season 2 add a new helicopter?
No new helicopter is listed among the four Season 2 vehicle additions. However, existing aircraft receive progression, pricing, and gameplay adjustments, including changes to the armed Little Bird and Havoc.
When will the Wager Vendor be available?
The Wager Vendor is planned to open later during Season 2, not on October 15. BULKHEAD has not announced a specific opening date, and the vendor is intended to be a temporary feature.
Is another WARDOGS Season 2 wipe happening immediately?
No. On October 17, BULKHEAD said there would be no additional general wipe over the October 17โ18 weekend. Targeted resets for exploit abuse are separate from a general seasonal wipe.
Is WARDOGS Season 3 coming early?
Possibly. BULKHEAD is considering bringing Season 3 and some content significantly forward after admitting the faster Season 2 progression was not balanced as intended. No new launch date or next wipe date has been confirmed.
Does Lonestar still have bonus cash or XP?
No. The launch bonus of 5% cash and 2.5% XP was removed after it attracted too many players to Lonestar. The separate underdog vendor discount for teams far behind in score was not part of that removal.
Are Limited Mode or Primitive Servers available?
BULKHEAD has announced plans for restricted servers without power weapons and vehicles, and discussed the provisional name Primitive Servers. Their final restrictions and public release date have not been confirmed.
Does rain affect gameplay in WARDOGS?
Yes. Rain changes environmental sounds, reduces spotting range, and weakens Molotov fire. Loud thunder can also cover footsteps, creating opportunities for stealthier movement and attacks.
WARDOGS Season 2 offers faster access to several key weapons and vehicles, but cash management, class selection, and teamwork still matter. The Lonestar bonus is gone, Driver progression has been corrected, and Season 3 could arrive earlier than planned. For now, use the confirmed unlock requirements and focus on the gear you want to play with during Season 2.
