How To Play CoD Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 Crossplay

Hey! Today I’m going to talk about how to utilize cross-platform gameplay and cross-platform progression in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops Cold War, Vanguard, and Warzone 2. Basically, in all CoD games released after 2019.

If you’re not familiar with the concept, all Call of Duty games are cross-platform games, meaning that you can play the game on PC, XBOX, or Playstation and have ALL of your progress transfer immediately, such as weapons, KD, achievements, including the Warzone wins wins and kills.

Without further ado, let’s dig in and show you how to link your account to the platform you want to play on.

How to link PC, XBOX, and Playstation accounts in CoD MW 2 & Warzone 2

The process may sound complicated but it’s actually rather simple and done in a few steps only!

Step 1

Head to the CoD website and log in to your Activision profile.

Step 2

Find the “Linked Accounts” page on the upper right end of the corner, if it’s not there, it should be somewhere on the CoD profile page and click it.

Step 3

You will then see Battle.net (PC), Xbox Live, and PSN. Press Link with the one you want to be linked to. If you want to link to a PC account to your CoD profile, press Battle.net and sign in with your Battle.net account, if you don’t have one, creating it is quite fast. You can create a Battle.net account here.

If you want to link a Playstation account to your Activision profile, press PSN, and log in with your PSN account to link it. If you don't have a PSN account, you can create one here.

And finally, if you want to link your XBOX account, press Xbox Live and log in, and if you don't have one, you can create one here.

Step 4

Voila! You have now linked to your desired platform and you can play on that platform with all of your progress transferred.

Will all of my stats such as Warzone stats fully transfer?

Yes! All stats from all three games. Regarding Warzone, just make sure to play a Warzone match on your main platform after you’re done playing on the secondary platform to complete a full transfer with icons inside the game marking your original platform.

Can I play Modern Warfare, Cold War, or Vanguard on the secondary platform?

Sadly, you need to purchase the game on that platform as well, you can play Warzone for free on that platform.
