What Is Haunted Hollow in Warzone?

Haunted Hollow is the Halloween-themed version of Haven's Hollow, introduced as part of Warzone Season 06 and The Haunting. All Haunted Hollow Map Changes

Mansion Low Gravity Zone

The Mansion contains a gravity-defying vortex. Entering the Low Gravity Zone lets players jump farther and higher while removing fall damage.

Raven temporarily disabled the Floating Island event following launch. The September 24 patch notes now confirm that the issue has been fixed, so the Eldritch Gate event is available again.

Research Center

Research has become the site of a supernatural massacre, and this area now contains one of Haunted Hollow's most useful solved secrets.

Players can use an EMF Reader to locate a ghost hiding throughout the Research Center. Successfully finding and shooting it three times rewards a Mutant Injection that temporarily transforms the player into a Mangler.

Main Street

Main Street is connected to another community-solved Easter Egg involving a dead Jackalope.

How to Unlock the Crimson Crawler Camo in Haunted Hollow

The Crimson Crawler is an animated weapon camo hidden behind Haunted Hollow's Eldritch Gateway Easter Egg.

There is no normal challenge tracker guiding you through the ritual. You need to locate the sword, take it to the Floating Ruins, place it on the ritual podium, and then charge the gateway by killing Zombies nearby.

Important: The Eldritch Gate was temporarily disabled shortly after launch. Raven's current Season 06 patch notes confirm that the issue has now been fixed.

The repeatable solution is:

• Find the glowing sword at Mansion, Lumbermill, or River Boat.
• Carry the sword to the Floating Ruins.
• Use the Jump Pad to reach the ruins.
• Place the sword on the ritual podium.
• Kill the Zombies that spawn around the Eldritch Gateway.
• Keep killing until the gateway is fully charged.

Step 1: Find the Glowing Sword

The first objective is finding the glowing sword.

It does not appear in the same location every match. Live testing has identified three fixed possible spawn locations: Mansion, Lumbermill, and River Boat.

Only one location normally contains the sword in a given match, so check all three if necessary.

Step 2: Carry the Sword to the Floating Ruins

Once you pick up the sword, head toward the Floating Ruins near the drained Pond.

The sword is a carried quest item, so concentrate on reaching the ritual area rather than taking unnecessary fights.

If you're playing with teammates, having the other players provide cover can make this much easier.

Step 3: Use the Jump Pad

The ritual platform is elevated and cannot be reached through a normal ground route.

Find the Jump Pad below the Floating Ruins and use it to launch yourself onto the platform while carrying the sword.

Step 4: Place the Sword on the Podium

Look for the ritual podium on the Floating Ruins.

Interact with it while carrying the sword. Placing the sword activates the Eldritch Gateway and begins the final part of the Easter Egg.

Step 5: Kill Zombies to Charge the Eldritch Gateway

Zombies begin spawning around the ritual area after the sword is placed.

Kill them near the gateway to charge the ritual. Continue clearing the horde until the gateway reaches full charge.

A fast-firing AR, SMG, or weapon with a large magazine makes this section easier because you need to clear Zombies while also watching for enemy squads.

Step 6: Unlock the Crimson Crawler Camo

Once the Eldritch Gateway is fully charged, the ritual completes and Crimson Crawler unlocks.

Current live testing indicates that you do not need to win the Warzone match afterward. The important part is finishing the ritual before you are eliminated.

If your squad is wiped before the gateway finishes charging, you may need to repeat the Easter Egg in another match.

How to Become a Mangler in Haunted Hollow

The Research Center Ghost Easter Egg allows you to earn a Mutant Injection and temporarily transform into a Mangler from Zombies.

Unlike Crimson Crawler, this is a match reward rather than a permanent account unlock. The Easter Egg revolves around an EMF Reader, a Thermal Optic, and a ghost that moves around the Research Center.

Step 1: Find the EMF Reader

Head to the building southeast of the Research Center and enter the server room on the bottom floor.

Pick up the EMF Reader. It occupies your Tactical Slot and shows stronger readings as you get closer to the ghost.

Step 2: Get a Thermal Optic

You need a Thermal Optic to actually identify the ghost once you locate its room.

Step 3: Track the Ghost With the EMF Reader

Move through the Research Center while watching the EMF Reader.

The reading increases as you approach the correct location. When it reaches around 9.99, you are in the room containing the ghost.

The room will darken when the encounter activates.

Step 4: Find the Ghost With Thermal Vision

Switch to your Thermal Optic as soon as the room goes dark.

The ghost can disguise itself as an object rather than appearing as a normal human-shaped spirit. Look for the unusual object with a visible supernatural or particle effect and shoot it.

If you take too long, the encounter can reset and the ghost will move again.

Step 5: Find and Shoot the Ghost Three Times

After being hit, the ghost relocates somewhere else inside Research.

Take the EMF Reader back out, track the signal until you reach another 9.99 reading, switch to the Thermal Optic, and shoot the ghost again.

Repeat this process until you have successfully found and shot the ghost three times.

Step 6: Collect the Mutant Injection

Finishing the third ghost encounter drops several items, including the Mutant Injection.

Activate it to temporarily transform into a Mangler. While transformed, you gain access to Mangler-style attacks including its cannon, melee attack, and aggressive sprint attack.

Players have reported several possible Jackalope locations around Main Street, including:

• Under a truck near the white house on the eastern row of Main Street.
• Inside the bathroom sink of the white house.
• On a low shelf behind the bar inside one of the nearby buildings.

Only one location may contain it in your match, so check the surrounding Main Street buildings if the first spot is empty.

Step 2: Take the Jackalope to the Cooking Pot

Carry the Jackalope toward the outdoor cooking area near the Barn and place it into the large pot.

Shoot the firewood underneath the pot to start cooking it.

After the Jackalope finishes cooking, the pot can produce a Lucky Rabbit's Foot.

Community testing indicates that the Rabbit's Foot can provide useful ammo and armor support during combat.

There is also an upgraded version of the Easter Egg.

The Ghost Train circles Haunted Hollow in an ethereal form. You cannot simply jump aboard and loot it immediately.

You first need to use one of the signal levers beside the train tracks. Activate a lever while the Ghost Train is approaching and it can stop and temporarily phase back into reality.

Known signal areas include the Train Station, Lumbermill, Coal Depot, and the tracks between Main Street and the River Boat.

Pull the lever before the train reaches the signal. Activating it too late can allow the Ghost Train to continue past the stop.

Once materialized, the train can provide:

• Supply Boxes
• A Buy Station
• A Mystery Box
• High-tier weapons
• Other useful match resources

The train only remains materialized temporarily, so players need to loot quickly before it returns to its ghostly form.

How the Haunted Hollow Mystery Box Works

Once the Ghost Train phases into reality, its Mystery Box becomes visible through a beam in the sky and an icon on the Tac Map.

Interact with the box to roll for a potentially powerful item. You need to claim the reward before it disappears.

If you do not like the item, melee the unwanted reward to reject it and quickly spin the Mystery Box again.

The train only provides a limited opportunity to use the Mystery Box before it phases out again. If you miss the weapon you want, you can follow the train and stop it again at another signal.

How to Get the Ray Gun in Haunted Hollow

The iconic Ray Gun can appear from the Ghost Train Mystery Box.

Normally, the Ray Gun is a rare random roll. Stop the train, interact with the Mystery Box, reject unwanted weapons, and continue spinning until the Ray Gun appears or the current opportunity ends.

There is also a community-discovered shortcut. Players report that completing the upgraded Jackalope recipe and bringing the Luckier Rabbit's Foot to the Ghost Train Mystery Box can guarantee the Ray Gun on the interaction.

The Ray Gun is a match-only weapon. It fires explosive energy projectiles and can be resupplied while you remain alive.

Because other squads can see and contest the stopped Ghost Train, activating it creates a natural hotspot. Loot quickly and expect enemy players to rotate toward the train.

Trick or Treat Pumpkins & Haunted Hollow Powerups

Shops around Haunted Hollow have Trick or Treat Pumpkins that players can interact with. Each interaction is a gamble because the pumpkin can provide valuable loot or a temporary powerup, but it can also give you a trick instead.

Giant Infected on Haunted Hollow

Giant Infected is a 64-player Limited-Time Mode played exclusively on Haunted Hollow. Eight players begin the match as Infected while the remaining Survivors attempt to gather enough DNA to construct and detonate a DNA Bomb.

Raven's current Season 06 patch notes list Giant Infected as Week 2 content. The updated notes were published on September 24, replacing the earlier launch wording from the original Season 06 announcement.

How Survivors Win Giant Infected

Survivors need to collect DNA samples around Haunted Hollow while staying alive. Every Survivor begins with a fixed Loadout that can be upgraded during the match.

You earn score by surviving, killing enemies, gathering DNA, and completing objectives. Once enough DNA has been collected, the Survivors can begin the DNA Bomb sequence.

If the DNA Bomb successfully detonates, the Survivors win.

How the Infected Work

Eight players start the match as Infected. Survivors who die and are not revived in time also return as members of the Infected team.
