The BO7 Last Call Event is live until September 17, 2026 at 9 AM PT, giving you a short window to finish its 10-tier Free or Premium Event Pass. If you want the Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, cosmetics, and Tier Skips before Season 06 begins, you need to earn enough account XP in Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, or Warzone.

BO7 Last Call Event Dates and Quick Overview

Last Call went live on September 3, 2026 and runs for two weeks. It ends on September 17 at 9 AM PT, when Black Ops 7 Season 06 begins.

How Does the BO7 Last Call Event Work?

Last Call is an XP-based Event Pass themed around Rex Infernus, the final Round-Based Zombies map in Black Ops 7. You do not need to complete a separate challenge for every Event Pass reward.

Instead, normal Player XP moves you through the event's 10 tiers. You can earn Last Call progression in:

• Black Ops 7 Multiplayer
• Black Ops 7 Zombies
• Endgame
• Call of Duty: Warzone

There are two reward tracks:

• Free Track: Available to everyone and includes two Operator Skins, cosmetics, an XP Token, and a Battle Pass Tier Skip.
• Premium Track: Costs 1,100 COD Points and adds two Operator Skins, three Weapon Blueprints, a Gun Screen, Finishing Move, Emote, Tier Skip, and other cosmetics.

The Free Track begins with the Soph Zaveri Operator Skin. Purchasing Premium immediately gives you the Verrückt Original Nikolai Operator Skin, but it does not complete the rest of the Premium Track.

You still need to earn XP to reach the remaining rewards.

How Much XP Do You Need for the Last Call Event?

Last Call has 10 reward tiers, but Activision has not published a complete public table showing every XP milestone or the total XP needed to finish all 10 tiers.

Your exact current progress and the XP needed for your next tier are shown in the in-game Last Call Event screen.

The important distinction is that Last Call progresses through Player XP. Weapon XP and Battle Pass XP are separate progression systems and should not be confused with the XP filling your Last Call Event Pass.

All BO7 Last Call Event Rewards

There are 10 Free Track rewards and 10 Premium Track rewards. Both tracks advance through the same Event Pass tiers.

One important live change is the final Richtofen reward. Activision's pre-launch Season 05 Reloaded information called the skin “Trimmed” Richtofen, while the live Event Pass now displays it as “Al” Richtofen.

Last Call Free Track Rewards

You can earn the entire Free Track without buying Premium.


The Mace is not one of these 10 normal Last Call XP tiers. It launched at the same time, but its live unlock requirement is tied to Season 05 Week 7 Weekly Challenges.

Last Call Premium Track Rewards

The Premium Reward Track costs 1,100 COD Points. Buying it immediately grants the first Premium reward, Verrückt Original Nikolai, while the remaining items require Event Pass progression.

How to Unlock the Mace in BO7

The live unlock method for the Mace Melee Weapon is now confirmed. The Mace is the main reward for Season 05 Week 7 Weekly Challenges.

To unlock it, complete any six Week 7 challenges across Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone.

Week 7 contains 24 challenges in total:

• 6 Multiplayer challenges
• 6 Zombies challenges
• 6 Endgame challenges
• 6 Warzone challenges

You can mix challenges from different modes. You do not need to complete six challenges inside a single mode.

Completing any six unlocks the Mace and awards the Week 7 completion XP bonus.

Activision's original Season 05 Reloaded article caused some confusion because the Last Call section grouped the Mace together with the event's free content. However, the live Week 7 rollout confirms that the weapon itself is a Weekly Challenge reward, not one of the 10 Last Call XP tiers.

The Mace is a two-handed Melee Weapon with high damage, long reach, and a slower attack speed. It has 30 Weapon Levels and supports Weapon Prestige progression and Universal Weapon Prestige Camos.

If you miss the Mace during Season 05, it will not be lost permanently. Activision has confirmed that Season 05 Weapons missed through Weekly Challenges will become available through Armory Challenges in Season 06.

Is the Last Call Premium Track Worth 1,100 COD Points?

Premium is optional. You can complete the entire Free Track without spending COD Points.

The main reasons to buy Premium are the extra Operator Skins and Weapon Blueprints:

There is now another factor to consider. Season 06 launches on September 17, and its standard Battle Pass will also cost 1,100 COD Points.

The Season 06 Battle Pass contains more than 100 rewards and allows players to earn up to 1,100 COD Points back through progression. Because of that, players with only 1,100 COD Points should buy Last Call Premium mainly if they specifically want its limited Zombies-themed rewards.

If those skins and Blueprints do not interest you, saving your COD Points for Season 06 may provide more overall content.

Fastest Way to Complete the Last Call Event

Last Call progresses through Player XP, so your goal is to maximize account XP earned per hour before September 17.

There is no single mode everyone must play. The best option depends on where you consistently earn the most XP.

1. Complete Daily and Weekly Challenges

Challenges are one of the easiest ways to add large XP rewards on top of the XP you already earn from normal gameplay.

Week 7 is especially useful because completing six Weekly Challenges also unlocks the Mace. This lets you make progress toward two goals at the same time.

2. Play Objective-Based Multiplayer Modes

If you prefer Multiplayer, modes such as Hardpoint and Domination allow you to earn XP from both combat and objective play.

Prioritize objectives instead of only chasing eliminations. Match wins, objective score, challenges, and Scorestreak usage can all increase your overall Player XP per hour.

3. Use Zombies or Endgame for Longer XP Sessions

Zombies and Endgame are useful if you prefer longer PvE sessions where you can consistently generate XP while also completing challenges.

You can combine Last Call progression with Zombies Weekly Challenges, Weapon Prestige, camos, account leveling, or Rex Infernus progression.

4. Use Warzone Resurgence for Faster Matches

Warzone also counts toward Last Call.

If you do not want to spend time in full Battle Royale matches, Resurgence can provide more frequent engagements, contracts, match completions, and challenge progress in a shorter session.

5. Use Double Player XP When Available

An active Double Player XP bonus directly helps Last Call because the event uses account XP.

Do not confuse this with Double Weapon XP. Weapon XP levels your weapons but does not directly fill the Last Call Event Pass.

The Triple 2XP promotions seen around the event launch also do not mean you receive three times normal Player XP. The term means multiple XP categories are receiving a 2XP bonus at the same time.

Always check the active XP indicators in-game before planning a long grinding session.

6. Stack Last Call With Other Progression

There is little reason to grind Last Call by itself. Combine your sessions with progression you already need, including:

• Account leveling and Prestige
• Daily Challenges
• Weekly Challenges
• Weapon leveling
• Weapon Prestige
• Camo challenges
• Battle Pass progression
• Zombies challenges
• Warzone challenges

Every extra Player XP reward helps move your Last Call track closer to completion.

7. Check Your Event Progress Before Long Sessions

Open the Last Call screen before starting a long grind and check how much XP remains until your next important reward.

This matters even more near the end of the event. If you only want Al Richtofen, Wanderer Vermaak, or another specific reward, you can estimate exactly how much further you need to go instead of grinding blindly.

Get Every Last Call Reward Before September 17

Rex Infernus launched with Season 05 Reloaded on August 20, while Last Call followed on September 3.

What Happens When Last Call Ends?

The Last Call Event ends on September 17 at 9 AM PT. Black Ops 7 Season 06 begins at the same time.

Once Last Call closes, you should not expect to continue filling its Event Pass. Activision has not announced a permanent Armory-style catch-up method for the Last Call Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, or other event cosmetics.

The Mace is different because it is a Weekly Challenge weapon. Activision has confirmed that Weapons, Attachments, and Scorestreaks missed through Season 05 Weekly Challenges will become available through the Armory during Season 06.

So if you mainly want the Mace, you will have another unlock route. If you want the Last Call skins or Premium rewards, finishing the Event Pass before September 17 remains the safer option.
