What Is The Astra Malorum Leaderboard Event

The event places you in a group of 30 players. Everyone earns points by doing tasks on the Astra Malorum map. When the event ends, your final score determines what rewards you unlock.

• Disable OSCAR: 100 points
• Complete the Easter Egg: 5,000 points

These scoring rules are similar to the old Proving Grounds event, but this time everything is Zombies only.

Event Duration

The Astra Malorum Leaderboard Event runs from December 4 at 9 AM PT until December 9 at 9 AM PT. Rewards are delivered when the event ends. All rewards become unobtainable after the event closes.

How To Get Top 1 In Astra Malorum

Getting first place is not just about killing zombies. The fastest points come from TED tasks, disabling OSCAR, and completing the Easter Egg. Below is the complete strategy.

The Late Join Strategy

Many players wait until the final day of the event before they play. This places you into leaderboards with casual players who joined late. These players usually have low scores, which makes it easier for you to secure Top 1.

• Join 24 to 36 hours before event end
• You are matchmade into weaker groups
• You avoid competing with day one grinders

Use the fastest scoring loop:

Optimal Match Strategy

Step 1: Activate Rampage Inducer

This speeds up the early rounds. If zombies become overwhelming later, turn it off. Early rounds are slow without it.

Step 2: Open Pack a Punch

Rush to Pack a Punch as fast as possible. Once done, upgrade your weapon immediately.

Step 3: Get Cryofreeze

Go to the Armory and equip Cryofreeze. You need it to start collecting shards for the OSCAR disable method.

Step 4: Break Purple Crystals

Destroy crystals around the map using your Pack a Punched Cryofreeze weapon. Collect three shards.

Step 5: Disable OSCAR For Free Points

Go to the Speed Cola room. Lure OSCAR into the area. Activate the device near the rocket or telescope. When it counts down to one, keep OSCAR inside the Cryofreeze smoke. He will instantly explode. This gives you 100 free points with almost no ammo cost.

Step 6: Complete TED Tasks

TED appears first around rounds 8 to 12. Finish his task as soon as he spawns. He will return every few rounds. Each task is 50 points, and they stack fast.
