Counters

– Lunara: Kites you and won’t let you get close to her while she pokes you to death.
– Tychus: Well known tank melter.
– Raynor: Kites you and melts you after Giant Killer.
– Tracer: Strong harass and kites you.
– Thrall: You probably can’t duel Thrall.
– The Butcher: Nor Butcher.

Varian Tips

– When taunting an enemy target, especially a melee smashing your backline, kite him away from your team for the duration.

– Charge can be used as Varian’s only escape ability since you can charge minions and walls.

– You have no other means of escape, don’t overextend!

– You can use Taunt to interrupt Channels, all of them except Mosh Pit.

– Tell your team to focus your target if you built Colossus Smash and/or Mortal Strike.

– You can peel your team with Lion’s Fang.

– Don’t plant Banners randomly, they can be killed. Get used to the radius and plant them somewhere where they can’t be easily killed.
